Update - XP req'd is now 10,000,000 to level up?

From what I've seen it has to do with how many times you have hit the bonus levels so far. Everyone's is different until you get to a certain point and then you are needing 10 million. Being I can't even keep any of the XP I have been accumulating it looks like the bonus levels are a thing of the past unless EA changes this.

ON my main i have gained a hell of alot more bonus lvls, yet its my alt account that it bugged with 10 million xp cap..

People are going to lose interest between updates because the bonus donuts were something to actually motivate you to play everyday.

Hopefully somebody comes to their senses and realizes 10 million is simply unacceptable.

Although if you're like me, XP doesn't save anymore, so 10 million is a moot point.

I agree 10m is just stupid... I dont mind buying a few donuts now and then, but you gotta have some incentive to play after the top level and trying to get 10m XP isn't worth it...

why doesnt you XP save?

It's a glitch with the new update, some people have their XP reset when they close the game.

ARGH i just noticed my XP isnt saving either. When i came back into my town it was back to the original amount i had. how long has this glitch be going on and has anyone had it fixed?

It's a glitch that showed up with the Whacking Day update.

No fix that I'm aware of.

I don't know for a fact but I'm guessing the more times you reach bonus level the higher it takes next time around

That's it?!?!? Mine is at 3,203,423. It's insane. I'll never get bonus donuts again. I guess it's only fair, I got well over 4-500. But still, 3 million is insane.

I think it's so it's harder for house farmers to exploit donuts through levelling up. My xp target is actually lower after the update.

^ I think you're right. But I haven't house farmed since November. I just bought tons of weather stations every day. My town was making close to 350k a day, but that's going down now as I've had to put some premiums in storage.

I hope this is a glitch. The bonus levels were a good idea. Sure, they don't have to give them to us, but, now that they have, it'd be crap to take them away.

I've got the same here. Levelled up last night, then I just updated and the xp needed for the next level is 1,047,457! (so not quite 10,000,000).

Plus my xp isn't saving either! Which is seriously annoying because I've got a stack of White Houses waiting to be collected!

I have that same problem prophet1138. My XP has been dropping everytime i close the app. At first I thought I was seeing things, but I wrote the number on paper and sure enough, when I re-opened the app it was lesser. Now I'm not sure what to do. My characters are still on task, but I am wide awake and have collected from some bldgs that takes hrs to regenerate cash. Hopefully this is a glitch, but with the NEW {too much decoration policy} how will this effect the cash flow...can't farm even if I wanted to

Remember that this has happened with previous updates since the bonus level was enacted. Give it a few days/a week and things should get reset at something manageable. New updates always have ugly bugs and outages around here.
