Daily task not clearing

Set the daily task yesterday all sprinfielders into krusty burger. This morning clicked and all cleared but characters keep returning. Come out and back into game all the thumbs above krusty burger. Anybody else having this problem.

Just had a look further down in posts saw someone else having same problem soloution suggested there worked.

My daily jul 11 (Big box) got stuck too. Tried storing building but got The daily challenge screen, went to store building via the move option and got Error “sorry hoarder, unable to store building”. Went to friends and back a no go... deleted/reinstalled game still same issue.
