Don't you guys realize, that the reason for the building-limit is, to prevent the game screwing up all the time? Jeez, i'm not a big fan of EA, but cut them some slack, ****. You guys keep finding something new to whine about. They should even have put the limit on 1500 buildings.

Trust me, I don't work for EA (-: I'll gladly admit, that i've one of those who "cheated" a bit in the game. But yet, I don't freaking whine all the time. Get off the game, if it affects you so badly
I really doubt the issue was with house farming. Most of the house farmers I've seen have almost no decorations, which doesn't easily put them over 3000 buildings/decorations.
This just seems to hurt those who use the decorations for creativity. Hedge hills, hedge mazes, 3D buildings (with a ton of fences), etc. I'm apparently not at the limit at the moment because 1/3 of my town was already torn down in preparation for the Whacking Day additions, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to tear down my hedge hill that I just finished a few days ago (unless the limit is taken off after this event, which I doubt).
This is *. I dont know if i can continue playing this game since iam such a nerd for details. I have a junk yard in my town, all restaurants have outdoor serving, ive build a baseballfield and forest hideout for the volcano lair. All streets in my town have lampposts and ive counted squares on most of the areas to make the lamppost distance look realistic. It took long time to do something that unique(?) and now EA decides that we have to have a limit.... That really sucks. they should really find another solution for this beacuse we will only have ugly barenaked towns in the end and the game wont be intresting anymore.

I work in IT. I understand server strain. EA clearly has a problem and this is their solution. Is it permanent? No one knows. But for now, it will help with the game play for everyone. We always see issues with every update and if this solves those issues, I'm for it.
I hope you all realize that this is here to prevent from screwing up the damn servers? Read the message again. Key word is stability. With so much massive house farming, and overload of 3D shapes, no wonder servers are smashing (Random no connection, town resets, etc.)

It has nothing to do with stability, doofus. They're trying to fit all the android people on their server. 14 pages and you still don't bother to read what's written here- people have had no problem with stability no matter how big their towns were.
It's doing stuff like this that makes people house farm. Why pay this company hundreds of £$£$ when they treat their customers like dirt and over price everything? I've paid a small amount for some donuts and some scratchy cards because I enjoy the game and have spent a lot of time on it, but Frinks Lab and Scorpios Volcano lair and the like certainly aren't worth in excess of £70. Sorry, but it isn't. I could buy several console games for that money.

Yes all of us here are big house farmers who farm all day and are mad because we cannot house farm. If you sit idly and do nothing then how will EA know what we want? its b/c of ppl like you who sit on ther but all day long that nothing gets done

and to your house farming point u can still house farm 3000 houses.... do the math if you dont believe me.
Because of people like me? I don't freaking whine, when the game is god damn free. Take it or leave, seriously. The past few weeks, people have gone abe sh?t on this forum. I haven't seen so many unsatisfied player on a forum, as this one.
Yea, some of you have spent money on the game, buh huh. You should have thought about that a little time ago. This game is free, so getting pissed, because EA puts a cap to prevent the serves screwing up, is just plain stupid.
Yea, I've had to remove 0 deco, because I haven't r@ped my town with thousand of insane decorations and buildings, yet I see my town as decorated with more then whats necessary - with tons of premium and not premium items.
You can't have both things; either you choose a more stable server, with less bugs and resets (which means a cap for items)
... Or a server, where people overload it with insane unnecessary decorations, and makes it unstable. But I guess thats what you guys want, so you'll have something to whine about constantly.

Yes b/c we can afford it, we want to make our town more ascetically pleasing and we spend time on playing to decorate it. * if you have not removed 1000's of items then you would have no idea, what we are going through when we spent hours making it 'nice'. so ofc you would be biased in thinking the way you do having stability at no cost what so ever to you, it doesn't matter at all, but there are other ways to achieve stability.

Remember - it's just a game and really not worth getting this worked up over. Enjoy the game, gripe if you must because you don't like something but don't attack one another. That's when it goes too far and you guys force us to step in.
