Battery Life

this is typical, it drains a battery quick as the Wifi or net usage is almost constant, combining that with a lot of computing power used to render all the graphics wears the battery down fast and heats the Wifi/ net card and chips up.

Yeah I get all of those problems, this absolutely kills my battery life (and social life for that matter). I play throughout the day at work, but tend to keep my phone (iphone 4s) plugged in otherwise I end up having to charge it 2-3 times!

The game is like crack.

I generally leave mine tether'd to a charging source when playing..

Never had an issue with my SIII i get well hours and hours and then some, although the upgrade 4300 mah battery may help

Yeah mine gets quite hot as well, and rlly kills my battery, i need to play in moderation if in out else i can drain the battery quick

I posted this in another thread. My iPad 4th gen on wifi is definitely running hotter now than before the update. Using a lot more battery, too. I had it on a charger today and still battery ran down from 100% to 29%. I was visiting friends most of the time, but still, this the the first time my iPad battery decreased so much while still being plugged into the charger.

i turn my brightness all the way down
it helps a bit but makes it impossible to play outside during the day

On my ipod i turned off everything I wasnt using,, bluetooth, programs running in BG, etc. to extend the battery life,, seems to have helped extyend the battery..but the heat is still an issue.

I find it irresponsible of EA to not fix this issue of the game being a severe battery drain. I have to always keep my phone plugged in when I play it so it will not drain the battery. If I were to play it for an hour straight without being plugged in my battery would be dead. :evil: I have played other games that are more graphically intense than this game and the battery lasts a long time. I am not sure what is going on with this game.
