    @spot11114635 The answer was given to you to uninstall and reinstall. Don't know why people ask for help then don't take it.
  • Is anyone else having trouble? My characters are stuck on a daily group job. Whenever I tap them the reward and xp pop out but the characters aren’t released. Backed in and out multiple times. Uninstalled and reinstalled. No effect.

  • Yup. Kept getting logged out of the last update for jazz and now the Halloween update. I have given up trying Is there a fix coming?!!?
  • Has any one else had a problem with the latest Halloween game ? I finished the first part of the story, purchased scratch and started the 2nd part , then when I signed back in 450 donuts were gone, old scratch and all the prizes I’d won had gone and both games set back to zero ........ fuming is not the word !
    Is there a way of getting back to where I was originally before this happened ? Anyone else suffered the same problem ?
  • Uninstalling does NOT put the problems right again , ignore those comments . I still don’t have the answer and probably never will :(
  • Getting lots of disconnects when going through my friends neighbourhood since the Halloween event started.
  • I am currently having an error when I try to purchase $20 or $50 worth of Donuts the game says "error, you already have this item" and I cannot make the purchase. It will allow for the other bundles but I am not interested, I want to clear the 900 donuts for Black Friday 2020.

    I'm having problems with the current event and daily challenges. Since I've received the jelly monster, I have not been able to unassigned/reassign the citizens of Springfield. They can be released but they go right back to where they started from before I can reset it. I can't seem to assign new tasks either. It's stuck on a loop for both event and daily challenges. Please help? or point me in the right direction to fix it. I've been dealing it with for 2 days.

    update: the daily challenges are working but I still can't let the people off of the other ones to start the next one.

  • @ciheins2 Store the building they are stuck in go to friends screen and back. replace the building.

    My Simpsons Tapped Out game is extremely slow and laggy lately. I tried selling a lot of trees, shrubs, flowers and other stuff, so there's less items in the town, but it's still just as laggy. It's really
    Frustrating. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this and get back to normal?

    @binzers Make sure you have 4-6 gigs of free space
    close all other apps while playing
    clear your cache regularly
    If you have an account, try a fresh install (Uninstall, reboot, reinstall do not play while downloading)
    Reboot your internet equipment

    I have 46.3 GB of free space on my phone out of 128GB, so it's definitely not that.

    I just cleared all other apps and optimized the phone. Didn't help unfortunately.

    I don't know how you clear the cache on a phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G

    I did the uninstall reinstall thing before I made this post. Didn't help.

    Not sure what you mean by reboot internet equipment? Reinstall my internet app? How would that help The Simpsons Tapped Out?

    If you use wifi you have a modem and a router. reboot those. If on data maybe turn on airplane mode and back off not sure. You'll have to Google how to clear your cache on your particular phone. If you still have issues contact EA support through the game

    Thanks. I'll try those things. I have wifi and a modem and router, but I mostly just use my data because I have more than I use and my 5G data is faster than the wifi.

    Okay I cleared my cache and tried airplane mode, no difference. Time to try contacting EA support through the game.
  • My Arnie Pye's task "Do a Sky Harness Interview" for 60m got removed off my game. Is this happening to you guys too?

    Did you update to the winter update? Quite a few tasks disappeared. Hopefully they are fixed
    Edited to say these tasks are probably in the daily challenges for the event so not a glitch
