Invisible characters that you can't collect from
I had the Daily Challenge to 'Make Springfielders Stamped Stores' and when it was done...
I'd tap the character face in the Character Finder and it would whip me over to a random spot with no character or ThumbsUp. Or it would whip me somewhere and start moving through the town like it was following a character, but there was no one there. I'd have to move away and maybe tap something else, then tap the Character finder again to go somewhere completely different that where it had taken me before.
Sometimes when it was following a character around it would slowly (very slowly) fade in and the Thumb would finally show up.
It was a 2 hour task so I set them all on 1 or 2 hour tasks to fill in the 4 hour set. Then they did it again. It was infuriating.

Can't remember his name but the aging stuntman disappears in the church on his 12hr job, the finder will take you to him but there's no thumb. However if you can collect income from a nearby building then the IRS will collect him for you.
Also the character from Itchy & Scratchy Land (can't remember his name either) has a job where he visits different buildings and his thumb icon disappears while he's inside as well.
If you can't catch them with the IRS then they will eventually reappear, it's just annoying that the finder won't move on to the next character until they're cleared.
There may be others, but the IRS blasts get most of mine usually.
Yeah, the Yakuza Boss' 8hr task makes the whole screen "white out" for a second when you finish it, the first time that happened I thought I'd broken the game.
Then there's the character that does the task at Anchor Management who has a long animation when finished which freezes your game up for a bit. If I'm not paying attention I still panic that I'm about to get Barted.
When he's on 4h task ( and maybe others ) and it's complete he's popping in and out of buildings and if he's inside there's nothing to see and nothing to tap. Drives me batty ( ok, more batty "!! )
I have all the icons, thumbs, money, everything disappear, leaving my town behind when I collect from Young Artie Ziff on completing 24hr Dance Like Marge Is Watching, and my heart stops every time, especially if he's behind a building and I can't see him.
I couldn't tap Skinner this morning because he was invisible. I'd used the Skyfinger Monument so I couldn't tap a building thumb near him. I kept moving away from the location and tapping other characters, but then when I tapped on his Finder icon he was still invisible. So I went to the task in the Daily Challenge, hit Do it to get the list, scrolled down to Skinner and hit Go To. Then I could tap him. And he was in a completely different place from where the game was putting him. That may be part of the problem - they're supposed to be running around from store to store and the game thinks they're still in the last store they visited.
Also I'd like to see an upgrade path, similar to the IRS building that made the area of effect wider, to allow both skyfingers to be used every 12hrs, then 8hrs, then 4, 2 & finally 1 hourly recharge rate. I think that the release of the 500th character graphically demonstrates the need for something like this, as the time it takes to collect from all your characters if they've all been on 24hrs especially can run in excess of 30 minutes. Even more so with the higher bonus % as the XP animation can't keep up & the constant interruptions for bonut rolls drags it out even longer.
I would gladly pay a couple of billion igc for the upgrades or even an igc fee every time it's used, like the Office of Unemployment charges a fee each time you send people.
Finally while I'm putting the world to rights, how about a 16hr task for Maggie, so that she's always available for her mini game instead of realising that you've just sent her on a 24hr task with everyone else 10min before it comes up. D'OH!
I'VE DONE THAT, I'VE DONE THAT, yeah really annoying, I try and keep her on 4hrs now, Celebrate Like It's 1879, (Is the date right???), it pays more than her 24hr job.
I say try and keep her on it as a couple of times I have put her on 24hr, then quickly go into Edit Mode and tap to store her as she is floating, and not tap where she is but where her footprint is.
Agree with a collect all for characters, though I don't think our device will like it, I've just stored IRS building as it is, I'm back to single tapping.
If they're in a building you can't see them or tap them, just gotta wait for 'em to leave
