Has anyone else went out of their way to see how many different homes the group will go to? So far the only ones I can’t get them to go to are Homer’s dream house and the winter kings cave.
Willy’s shack, yes.
Broken down school bus, yes,
Cat lady’s house, yes.

I think its certain houses the group goes to but not all of them. I believe its the "Visitable Homes" the characters go to but not all the "Homes" because if they went to the homes then they would go to the nearest building with the $ sign over it.

I don't know all of the "Visitable Homes" locations but my characters are currently at Lincoln's Cabin, Gingerbread House (the one that comes with Suzanne), Cool Brown House, Future Simpson's House, Bachelor Arms, and Skinner House.

For me; the RR announcers holed themselves up in the Arthur Fortune Megastore throughout the entirety of Act I.
