Game stuck on buy milk from Kwik-E-Mart daily challenge

My game has been stuck in a loop all day. As soon as I collect on the Kwik-E-Mart ‘buy milk’ daily challenge all the characters immediately go back into the activity, but if I quit the game & go back in I can collect on the activity again but the characters go straight back into it again. I have quit & reloaded multiple times & even deleted & reinstalled but I can’t get past this and can’t access any characters to send them on others tasks.
