I updated tapped out and now it won't work at all

Me too, I’m still stuck on the syringe event & Stacey has been missing for around 2 months now !,,I finally got ea to understand the problem but it’s still not fixed

You have to give it some time to build in the new land, 10 minutes -30 minutes should do it. the more you try to play while it is doing that the longer it will take

That's crazy it may take 30 minutes to update with no warning.

I don't know what devices you guys have! It was less than 1 minute for each of my towns

wasn't more than 5 for mine. I only put 30 minutes as any longer than that and you have other issues

my old iPad won't load at all at the moment. In another thread I said this would be fine if they increased the items and added more land. I guess my dreams really did come true.

🤓Ditto on the initial loading delay...
LAND🚧THAUGH took a few sign-ons, & then a few minutes til game unfroze & play returned to normal😬

...ITEM LIMIT shenanigans are apparently quite screwy however, as it's now telling the limit is 15000 & I'm over by 183💩
How the heck does that happen with a 1000 increase😏?

I updated my game twice. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Log in and heard two bird chirping and then my game froze. HELP???

If this is the first time you have logged in to the game since the update then wait for a minute or two to allow the game to update and add all the new land in the Springfield Heights area, once complete your game will return to normal play.
