    No the snakes are still there. My splash screen is normal now too...

    My splash screen and icon on home screen went back to the normal versions, but everything in game stayed the same.

    I have updated and still have the whacking day splash screen and icon.

    All seems good

    Just updated, still can't whack any snakes in friend's towns. The baton icon isn't even there despite me having 2300+ snakes. Great.

    Yep me too, went with 5332 and did h alf of py friends and am at 5328!!

    In the words of Comic Book Guy "WORST EVENT EVER"! Seriously this event has had nothing but problems. I have lost somewhere between 250-300 snakes thus far. Now I can't whack snakes in friends towns. Game keeps crapping out when I try to leave eggs in friends towns. This event is going to be hard enough to complete without spending donuts and they have made it all the harder by crippling us with bugs. Hope they either give free snakes to everyone or extend the event by a week or two.

    Just updated and lost my Wacking Day login in screen as well. It is back to Homer running in front of the Aztec.

    Yep like everyone else. Both my splash page & app icon went back to the normal one & not the Whacking Day themed one

    Good thing I always come here to read after I've been offline a long time to see if there are any changes....otherwise.....I would have had a heart attack!

    I didn't even check my icon at the time. It has changed back to the normal one as well.

    Still losing snakes in friends towns, but I'm getting snakes only now in their towns when I tap, no eggs!

    At least the XP seems to have been fixed. Considering losing snakes is still happening and the splash/icon problems, it appears the last update was a half a$$ fix for a seriously failed event update. Anyone have and can post a picture of the room full of smoking monkeys at typewriters that was on a Simpsons episode. Obviously, these were hired by EA to be programmers.

    After update it keep crashing.
    Before was Ok.
