Just purchased The Rich Texan. His very first mission is just a long string of attacks on the Tea Party. Now, I'm not an idiot, I know the Simpson's has a liberal leaning, but I'm a little saddened that I payed actual money so that my choice of entertainment could insult my personal political beliefs.
You must be the first person ever who has had their beliefs poked fun at by The Simpsons
No, I think y'all are misunderstanding my real objection. I know Matt Groening has no love for conservatives (that was really clear during the elections). I have no problem with what he says on the show. I don't think I would be all that bothered if the mission involved the characters I have already, or if The Rich Texan could be bought with grind cash, but the idea that I paid 80 donuts (roughly $8.00) so that I could be insulted annoys me some.
I'm not threatening to boycott the game or the show or anything, I just wish we could leave the political stuff to the show (or at least keep it nice and generic, if that makes sense).

I agree, liberalism is the worst thing to happen in the last 1000 years but lighten up. All cartoons have hippy dippy pinko messages these days.
