My iPad2 is ok for the most part. Will crash about every 30 mins while collecting from friends but from what I understand that's pretty typical during wacking day

I have a I pad 1 crashes when I visit towns every 20 mins

I take it your iPad is update with the latest update? If so it could be that you have to many friend request pending, this can only be sorted from going on the Origin Website and removing the requests, people have been know to have over 200 for example which will cause your game to crash (so we lead to believe) download it and hopefully this will help

I play on an Iphone 5 and even there the game crashes like every 20 minutes...

Crashing about every 20 mins on iPad2 with about 50 pending requests, I can put up with it though it always saves progress up to the point I'm thrown out

Iv been lucky besides from when the game had its launch problem iv only had one major problem(harps) and besides that I rarely get connections problem. Maybe the first few day of an update
