Thanks for the info. I've been reading about it this morning and it's pretty interesting. Sorry to get into with that troll and derail the thread. My apologies.
Sorry, but I can't help but laugh. It's hard taking someone who falls for fake donut hacks on YouTube.
PS- if you haven't tried it already just a heads up, it's a virus. You are welcome.
Also, you should really be careful who you throw rocks at my friend

No idea what you're talking about. Just quit the trolling. Okay sport. This thread was supposed to be about Anzac Day. Not about stroking your massive ego.

You don't want me to show you what I'm talking about. I'd rather remain somewhat civil.
Iv never heard WW1 as the forgotten war iv heard of Korea being the forgotten.war!
You're quite right about the Korean War moniker.
I'm a member of the WW1 historical association and some widely regarded WW1 scholars wrote recent articles branding WW1 as "The Forgotten War" in reference to the recent death of the 'last' veteran(s) of the Great War. It was referred to in a future context as in "... quickly becoming 'the forgotten war'..." etc.
Clearly, as evidenced by this thread, it's a pretty accurate assessment.

It's really a shame some **** ebag like you is gonna end up getting this thread locked or deleted.
It's so sad that we all can't just get along. We all know the outcome of wars, no matter what country you live in. So much tragedy. I pray for any person who enlists. I have generational enlistees in my family. Even my eldest son frightened me by enlisting, but it was peace time, but I was still worried everyday.
Can't we all just get along here? I mean, we might not understand everything about the wars, but we have all been affected by it. Whether you're grandparents or great grandparents or even friends were in a war or lived through it. I know so many of us wouldn't be here today if our ancestors had not fought for our countries and lives.
It doesn't matter if you don't know about ANZAC day, what matters is that you understand every country and soldier has had to make sacrifices, and everyone should respect that. That's what it's all about.
