This is great stuff. Will book mark this and try on my touchscreen monitor soon. I wonder if we can do this on the windows surface pro. Obviously not the rt since you can load third party programs though. Just got 5 pros in the office today. Looks like I have some thing to do tomorrow. :-o

I just installed Bluestacks (BEta version) on my iMac, and after visiting my 3 (yikes) Springfields, I gotta say I'm cautiously optimistic.

The "tapping" is fairly quick to respond, the the audio sounds like a chopped-up echo chamber.

I'm looking for some tips right now, but if they get that audio fixed, I'll do most of my tapping and whacking on the desktop when I'm home!

I've been playing using Bluestacks for weeks now, since my iPhone's screen stopped working properly. No problems at all, except there is something wrong with the sounds. But I always played the game muted anyway.

And yeah, haven't figured out how to zoom in and out.

I've skimmed over every post here and I'm surprised that I haven't been able to find anyone saying that you can login to origin from the android version. Maybe I missed it, but if not - you can login with origin.

So far not so good on my Mac. Can't even get BlueStack to download TSTO. Oh well.

What version of OS X are you using? I've got it running without a hitch, and it's brilliant. Too bad we can't increase the field of view so we can see the entire town....

Try running a diagnostic on your graphics card, there could be something wrong with it.

I just installed this on a 4 year old non-gaming laptop and it works perfectly. Although there doesn't appear to be a way to zoom out, so you're stuck with the fully zoomed in view.

The same way you do it on a normal device? Just make sure you touchscreen function is on and zoom out with your fingers on the computer screen.

With Bluestacks, you can zoom in and out by holding Ctrl and pressing the (+) or (-) keys.

Yes. The sound is terrible. I just turned it off.

Doesn't seem to work with the Mac version. Can anyone else confirm this?

Oh, I didn't think about Macs, maybe try the other modifier key, it's been a long time since I've used one...whatever the equivalent of Control is...Apple? Option?

I'd assume the functionality is still there, just a matter of the right key.

Doesn't work for everyone for some reason. I read that too on another forum, for some it works for some it doesn't.

I manage to zoom in by holding left mouse button and using the wheel, but after doing that I can't zoom out or move around...

That was the first thing I tried and it didn't work.
