More than the balloons

Aside from the two donut-required balloons, nope. Considering thanksgiving is a smaller holiday and only relevant to the US, I'm a little surprised there was anything at all, but I guess they're kinda pretty. Haven't made my mind up about them yet. They're certainly pricey.

I thought maybe they would do more thanksgiving decorations. Maybe something with a turkey or something lol. Better then nothing. In my opinion I don't think the balloons are worth it for the price of donuts. I will pass on that.

I'm at 2000 to purchase the third ballon, did you know if there is a task to purchase the one with donuts? I'm not going to purchase anything with donuts if I don't have to...

After the ray-gun fire-sale, I'm waiting until the very end of this theme to decide if donuts for balloons is an option for me. Also, I'm kind of annoyed that they can not be placed on the streets.

Agreed. I was all excited to place them in the street in my 'business district'. Definitely not spending donuts on the premium ones.

Instead I placed Blinky near the Nuclear Power Plant and Santa's Little Helper tucked right against the back on the Simpson home. It's a little like he's jumping around in the yard.

I'm waiting a week or so for buying the other balloons. I'd rather get more buildings.

They are only a decoration and wasn't sure getting the set was worth it. However they do have entertainment value. If you line up Santa's Little Helper in front of Snowball 2 at the right angle it looks they are having a particularly good time together and their expressions are perfect! I have them set up behind the Simpsons house, l'd like to think it's something Bart would do - steal the floats and set them up like this. I also have Scratchy behind Itchy so as they bob up and down it looks like Scratchy is being stabbed in the head.

I think the two donut baloons are overpriced and useless.

Generally I do not buy any more premium things that just bring some extra %.
The only thing I bought was tire fire because I think it's an essential part of Springfield.

All the other things (apple trees, burning bushes, etc.) are waste of money imho.

I'd rather purchase a premium character - they bring more $$ and are also more fun.

^I know they're expensive, but they actually look pretty cool. If I had enough Donuts, I'd get Itchy.

I got all the balloons including the two donuts ones. The 20 donuts one gives 0.50% increase and the 40 donuts one gives 2.00% (which is weird that its 2x the price but 4x the percentage).

Anyways, my question is: what was the amount of bonus money and XP that was given for buying all three balloons and completing the mission? I clicked on it so fast that I missed the amounts. And I'm just thinking back and wondering if it was a decent amount considering I had to spend $47,500 to buy the balloons and complete the mission.

    Thanks!

The tire fire is not essential anymore. They used it to fill in the sink hole, and then paved over it in last week's episode. :D

I'm still undecided on all the balloons. Thanksgiving was last month in Canada. So far I've just put Scratchy in front of the TV station as a bit of advertising to watch the show. I do love Blinky though...

From memory, I think it's the standard 100 cash, 25 XP. Probably mistaken, but I remember thinking "is that it??" when getting the most expensive cash balloon.

Ah well. Cash is reasonably easily earnt.

There was some dialogue from Lisa saying something about all we need is one more float for the parade. I had 3 balloons at the time and bought an extra of whichever the $1000 float is.....I think Scratchy.......anyways I havent seen this discussed but I would hafta believe this would mean that if u have 4 balloons that on Thanksgiving they will be part of some float parade that goes through ur Springfield. Kinda has me looking forward to Thanksgiving now to see if this actually happens.
