Everyone's star rating has dropped, mine is now at 1 star.
Think it' s because of the new content of the lvl 23/thanksgiving update.
I just wonder though what exactly kept out Righteousness rating up , Not having Snake around? or was it having Springfield Penitentiary / Police Station around. Cause i'm honestly confused on how it's getting rated. Also might want to change to topic name just so people wouldn't get confused on what your topic is xD
The Righteousness rating resets periodically. You have to vandalize other people's towns and have them vandalize yours in order to increase it again. They do this to make the social aspect of the game more vital.

Ah thanks for that , i would vandalize but there is also the problem of getting disconnected when attempting to visit or people's town. Guess i'll just have to wait.
Being honest with you, I haven't got a clue how the star rating works, mine has gone up and down like a yoyo!
Even with Snake my star rating was holding up at 3 1\2 until the new update, now being 1 star I've lost some of the bonus % at the same time.
To improve the rating, you need to vandalize other people's towns and have them vandalize yours. The best way I've found to make sure your buildings get vandalized is to put the things that can be vandalized, like the school and Moe's Tavern, in the area of your town that loads when someone first visits it. It's generally toward the center. Most people want to get their daily visits over and done with quickly so they won't look far beyond the part that loads when they first visit. If you place the buildings so they can be vandalized without having to search for them, you stand a much higher chance of it happening and thus are more likely to have a higher Righteousness rating

I always hunt around people's towns to find highest ranking building to click on, and generally graffiti one building, particularly if I notice their star ratings are down a little. That's what friends are for isn't it
I always vandalize as many buildings as possible, cuz that's the only way they can get money from that building. Didn't know it boosted righteousness, that's an added bonus for me now. An added bonus bonus.

I downloaded a new update from the app store and suddenly i had 0 stars on Rightousness where there used to be 5?! Any one else got this problem?
And btw, what did the new app store update do?
I have a fix for that, I did it today with my town, just put your buildings and other stuff in to storage then take them out again, it tricks the game in to thinking you just got them and starts upping your star rating.

The Righteousness rating is related to vandalizing buildings and having your own vandalized. It says as much in game.

Nice tip! I'm going to try that!
