Ive found drinking helps.
Their servers are bad... Mark my words this game will crash again like the summer

Same problem, the Homer and Lisa talk about Thanksgiving, and then boom the app just quits me out back to my iphone home screen.

Springfield, come back!!!

For me it crashes like clockwork about 30 seconds after logging in. After that I get about 5 minutes uninterrupted play before another server break. It's constant, but playable. Sorry to hear everyone's having these issues, I'm sure it'll sort it self out in the next few days after the updates are all rolled out and it's settled down.

I had the same problem got around it by tapping the screen as fast as I could till you can tap on the picture of Bart and Milhouse went to another Springfield then went back to my own worked ok till homer and Lisa talked about the second ballon crashed again so done the same as the first time and is working ok now. Sorry about spelling

Same issue here. Started with the dialogue with Homer and Lisa crashing and now has moved onto the cannot connect to server deal. Been about 24 hrs since this started. Starting to get annoyed since I was so close to buying Channel 6 news after spending a week doing nothing before the update.

even if I make it to tap the bart and milhouse icon it crashes

You have to do it fast and u might have to close the task had to do it about 4or 5 times before I was able to do it

I've been online with the update all day with no problems, three balloons (not the donut ones), and cletus and grandpa still repeating their tasks all the time. At least those are better than the looping 'house tax' and 'restaurant tax' tasks - those sucked!

I tap like crazy and manage to get to the bit where you can buy the balloons, I buy a balloon but before I can place it...boom, im staring at my home screen which I never thought I'd get sick of seeing when I put my sonic the hedgehog wallpaper up, but I am!!!

lmao. Sorry for laughing but it was funny. Anyway I made it and my game doesnt crash anymore,keep trying until you get to place a baloon and then it should be fixed......

I also play on iPad 2 without much issue. It will crash every so often but I'm able to progress. I started playing shortly after the relaunch and am at level 23.

Anyone able to play yet?
