No connection to server since Halloween update

Anybody experiencing the same ? I'm thinking that my springfield may be corrupted on the server, since I'm not able to access it from my iPad either...

    The crash is because some of ur friends didnt update, but cant know who, So you have to delete all of them. Get another game ex Monopoly Hotels login with ur origin acc and delete all of ur friends. Spreed this workaround so ppl can play again.

    ^^^IS THIS TRUE?? having exact same issues and just want it fixed!! driving me insane that i cant play.

    ^^^^Just did this and it doesn't change anything, unfortunately. Still can't play, and still can't connect to the server...

    Just wish that I could play, but reaching the point where it is getting ridiculous :-(

    Also haven't been able to connect either on my iPad or iPhone ... and the above fix did nothing for me as well.

    Has anybody heard anything new about this from EA I havent been able to connect for a week now

    I think the first balloon u put down is cursed. Game crashed as soon as i put it down and could never connect again.
