Death and the Simpsons

Prev1
Hans is only in his 30's. He's too young to die. He has still got like 2/3 of his life to live and be traumatized.

You forgot to mention Uter... or maybe he's just missing?

As for Hans Moleman, it's a running gag, a la Wile E. Coyote.

Dr. Nick didn't die, he fainted: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Nick_(The_Simpsons)
    Marvin Monroe isn't dead either.
Uter went missing after the civil war field trip but he's been seen since.

Dr. Nick died in the movie but not in the series. But the movie was referenced in the season premier after the movie. So, I'm not sure what to make of that.

Wow didn't know he died that is crazy. Hans Mole man like some one mentioned is a running gag just like Gil who I've seen get into a lot of death related accidents. Has Lionel Hutz made an appearance aside from the old seasons? I don't remember seeing him in S14 onwards.

Read the link. The producer said Nick didn't die in the movie, he fainted.

I stand strong and say that only a few characters have died. Bleeding Gums, Maude Flanders and Frank Grims. Others were just guessed, but never actually died. In the 138th episode it said that Dr. Marvin Monroe died, but that was never shown and just a gag. People assume he died since he hasn't made any recent appearances. Same with Lionel Hutz. Uter and others. Basically they never officially died, we just don't see them in episodes anymore. Doesn't mean they died, but just not used for obvious reasons.

The Characters Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure aren't dead, they retired from the show as the actor that voiced them, passed away in 1998 I think. :(

What about M0na Simpson? Will they retcon her death again?

.....and Phil Hartman didn't just "pass away", he was murdered by his wife.
