Game crashes every time I open the game!

Unfortunately I have been having the same exact problem for the last few days. The game loads up and Homer appears in a window talking about Thanksgiving and then the game just crashes back to my Iphone app screen. I was just about to drop some cash on some doughnuts too. I'm so glad I didn't or I would be chapped! Close call.

If any one has any solutions they would be much appreciated. I actually really enjoy this app and miss being able to log in and play.

    I have the same problem, Im so tired.. has been a week with out fix it

    I have the same problem, I tested in different iphones and always closes the game, please help, we invested much time and money :(:(:(

    I'm now having this problem, but it's only since I've really expanded my town more or less to the max. I reckon it's just a size limit thing, but I refuse to downsize my town to the point that I'm not happy with it, so until they FINALLY fix this, I'll just have to cope. x

    I had the exact same problem and have been emailing EA

    I received an email from EA yesterday saying that they escalated my query to a senior.

    A couple of hours later I checked my Springfield and it kept going past the Homer and Lisa Dialogue and didnt crash!!

    Im not sure if it was EA or just luck but mine is finally operating properly after 6 days of it crashing

    I play on a iPad 2 and had deleted all my friends (which didnt fix anything)

    Hopefully everyone else with this error will start to see their springfield running past the dialogue of Thanks Giving :)

    I'm so stoked! Went to log in today and I'm in! With Fat Tony to boot! Thank you for emailing EA. that might have been the trick. Who knows though with how many bugs have been going on. I was always confused when reading about everyone else having their game crash as mine ran flawlessly for a while. Then boom!

    Regardless I'm so happy its back. I must admit I was pretty chapped at first and even broke down to starting all over just to get my fix, but it wasn't the same. I spent a good amount of time trying to avoid the farm mentality and build something to be proud of and look ascetically pleasing. I have a long way to go because I blew doughnuts left and right when I was naive and spending them callously and accidentally speeding things up. Just thankful to have my account back.

    Awesome news hopefully there will be a roll on effect and everyone else with this issue will be pleasantly surprised when they log in next :)
