It's time for a COLLECT ALL function

Prev1
That would beat the point of "Tapped Out" wouldn't it. I mean the games name is tap tap tap tap.. lol but yea i do agree with you. With so many buildings we need an easier way to collect. lol.

I think the game would crash if you could collect all in one go. My game locks up if I place to many fences in one go and it has to collect all the exp up lol cud just be my game tho. A drop all button would of been good with the egg donations

Good Point. What people don't realize is that this is a simulation game and all the work or most of the work is being done by the processor and since these are played on mobile devices the processors really take a toll and the more items you have in your springfield the longer it takes to load and more glitches will start to happen.

Collecting from all your buildings at once does seem too easy to me. It may not be as fun as it once was, but it's an integral part of the game. However, since the cash and exp that falls on the ground does get auto-collected anyway, I would like to see either a button to force this auto-collect early, or let us set the duration that it sits on the ground. If I could have it get picked up instantly or at least after 1 second, it would be less frustrating for me. With the buildings it's not so bad as long as you hit them from bottom to top (so the cash doesn't get in your way). But with the characters, I like to assign them a new task immediately otherwise they wander away and I have to find them again... and for some tasks they have to walk all the way back to where they came from. But even if they walk away from the cash piles, tapping them will usually pick up the piles instead of bringing up the task list. The only exception is when you click a stack of thumbs-up on a building, then all but one of the characters can be assigned tasks without picking up the cash.

What it really needs is a character locator. When they are wandering around and you have limited time it's really frustrating. Or a screen showing what they are all doing.

Makes you wonder what EA are thinking not putting these bare simple functions in a game they update so frequently anyway...

I don't even care so much about the collecting, I just want to be able to buy multiples of one item and not have the XP block where I'm trying to set my decor. It's beyond annoying. Seriously, just move it up or down a smidge so it's not right where I'm trying to place an item.

Don't need a collect all function because it would defeat the purpose of the game called tapped Out??

No it wouldn't. Don't be so literal. It would be an option for the times you don't want to do it the painful way, and it pains a bit more with each repetition. Anyway the name tapped out has the word out in it, meaning you're bored of doing it so a collect all function would actually fit perfectly with the name of the game, when you look at it :)

With a collect all button it would just be 'The Simpsons: Tap out'

They have the perfect way to find the characters already, we have the character screen to show who we have so far, just make that so we can click on that character to find them.....Job done! :D

Was just thinking about this! How about an icon to show how many characters have finished tasks so you know if you have missed one? I keep missing Ralph eating his sandwich...

I was also thinking about a way to enable the money and xp to disappear when you've clicked on a character - when everyone finishes in the Kwiky I have to wait vital seconds for them to get out from under that stuff.

You still have the patience to give them hourly tasks? I gave up on that long ago. Too many characters. I wish I could do it, if they ever make it simpler I will, but not like this...

    Same here.
That's why I'm low in cash, and have to save a lot for squidport.

I played a game before where you could collect everything at once by shaking the device.

I still remember the day the first person came into the forum all excited.

They explained how they had thrown their device onto the couch and they were surprised to hear that all too familiar sound that comes from collecting coins. They went and investigated and realized after a minute or too what happened.

The forum was all a buzz for a day or two over that easter egg style hidden feature. 8)

Has, um, anyone tried that with this game?

Although I have gotten very good at blindly putting things in place under the mounds of xp!
