The update fixed some bugs and gave us back the old lamp post

    OP, the Tree being a new item is to do with your last Mysyery Box. For some reason whatever people got in their last Mystery Box is being deemed as a new item. My game says the parking lot is new. For others, the newspaper dispenser. Bizarre, hey?

    Ya the "new" feature is bugged I'm assuming its just suppose to label stuff as new as you lvl up to unlock said item or complete the quest line to unlock the item

    i got that as well but now all my premium items have vanished under solid white and the characters are constantly changing to other characters

    Didn't this update happen a day or two ago and fixed the tile issue? Are these Android users getting the update later?

    Confused.

    Or is it a new one?

    A few people have reported the tile issue being fixed so I think it's okay. Also, the original lamp post has returned.

    Its the same update some people got yesterday but different people seem to have got it at different times. I only got it a few hours ago (UK).

    Its the same update some people got yesterday but different people seem to have got it at different times. I only got it a few hours ago (UK).

    I only went onto WiFi today so maybe its something to do with that. I've waited for a while before updates have come through before now.

    They brought back the old lamppost?

    Disgusting! How will elitists feel superior to new players when those new players now have access to this highly coveted street decoration?

    This doesn't even factor in how the actual game experience is ruined for long-time players who must live with the knowledge that others can have lamp posts which was the only thing preventing all Springfields from being basically identical.

    Well the old lamppost was not meant to be taken away in the first place. You don't need to worry to much, the elitists can still feel superior to new players by having other limited items. :mrgreen:

    Why do I get the feeling we are going to get an update to fix this update? :(

    I'm well happy to get the old lampost back - I had a few already and was ready for a rant.

    I took the risk of the disappearing tiles with my secondary Springfield since this new update.
    In my main Springfield I went to view my secondary one and a floating tile was seen, I then tapped on it and received cash and XP and tile went away.
    I then logged into my secondary Springfield and the tile was still there.

    Still, it's not nice to tease the most important players in TSTO by taking away an item even by accident!

    With the tile problem now fixed! Is their any benefit to friend if you tap on it?

    Or is it just like channel 6 and the farm (unless rotten crops) of no benefit to the friend.

    And where better of tapping something else?
