Still not restarted hospital quest and I'm now beyond level 30

I would try the one thing you haven't tried and that is reinstalling the software. Surprising what an uninstall and reinstall will sort out and this applies to all software. :)

    Here is the list of quests that lead up to building the hospital. Depending on where you left off, you may want to store each building associated with each character on the list. You can also try building another orange house.

    1. Bart go for checkup (10 min) (Bart's Checkup)
    2. Hibbert practice medicine (12 hours) (General Practice)
    3. Grampa go for checkup (10 min) (My Pills!)
    4. Cleetus go for checkup (10 min) (Cleetus' Condition)
    5. Luigi go for checkup (10 min)(Luigi's Growing Problems)
    6. Quimby go for checkup (10 min) (Mayorital Difficulties)
    7. Burns hide Nuclear waste (8 hour) (Medical Industry Corruption)
    8. Hibbert deal organs on black market (4 hour)(Grey Matter)
    9. Kent Brockman go for checkup (10 min) (Kent Afford It)
    10. Make Hibbert sacrifice his principles (6 hour) (Corporate Sponsor)
    11. Hibbert, Krusty, Brockman dine at Gilded Truffle (2 hours each) (Show Biz Life)
    12. Krusty Promote a new product (8 hours) (Kramp Krusty)
    13. Homer/Comic Book Guy/Chief Wiggum eat at Krusty Burger (30 mins each) (keep Hibbert free) (The Flavormax)
    14. Dr. Hibbert prompts Homer/CBG/Wiggum go for check up (10 min) (Business is Picking Up)

    I was having the same issue. You need to build Burns Manor before you can get the hospital. I got frustrated waiting for a trigger, so I just skipped it and built the manor. When it finished, the quest to have Mr. Burns hide nuclear waste started.

    Had the same problem, building the Burns manor solved the issue.

    Built Burns manor ages ago but it didnt trigger. Will try to store it and retrieve it to see if that works...

    Thanks for the list - useful to know. I vaguely remember some of them...have tried storing all buildings on list as well burns manor and channel 6 news but nothing worked. Noticed that Kent Brockman does not have a checkup facility on his task list. Does that have significance here? Am building another orange house to see if that works...

    Brockman won't have the checkup facility on his task list until the game prompts it as part of the quest line.

    Great - that suggests that I haven't got as far as number 9. Narrows it down a bit...

    I have now tried everything - I have let all my characters roam free, I have now built three orange houses and have tried putting several buildings into the store then reinstating them after either quitting the app or visiting another Springfield.. I have deleted the app and reinstalled to no avail.

    Nothing had worked. No "!" sign has appeared over anyone's head leading to the general hospital quest. Please has anyone got any other ideas why this quest has not worked for me? What can I do?

    have you tried storing burns? that worked for me. store him for a good 10 minutes.

    Do you have more than one Krusty Burger in your town?
    This usually can prevent the quest line from progressing, as Krusty needs a checkup.
    This problem usually happens when you have stored the original Krusty Burger inside the inventory, or worse still sold the original one.
    Having more than one Krusty Burger is a bit of a problem because to look at there is no difference between the original and the extra one(s) that you purchase except the price. The extra ones are more expensive.
    Check to see if you have a Krusty burger inside your inventory and put it back into your Springfield, if it's the original one, the quest line will be prompted.
    If you have two or more Krusty burgers and there is none in your inventory then it's possible that the original was sold.
    If this is the case, the only way to resolve this is to sell all the Krusty burgers in order to have the original appear back into the buildings menu.
    The original K-Burger is a lot cheaper than the extra ones, so you wouldn't lose too much cash.

    I have tried storing Burns Manor and Mr Burns with the cooling towers. This has not worked.

    I have looked and I only have 1 Krusty Burger. I have tried storing it and re-instating, but again this has not worked.

    I am keeping all my characters free while doing this to avoid missing the exclamation mark!

    So frustrating!

    The hospital/hibbert family practise tasks were LONG! But so was Hermans and Skinner House IMO.

    you say you dont remember which task from the quest line you left off from? that would be helpful.

    try storing everything. every associated building and character. :( :?:

    I had this problem First put the cooling towers and mr burns in your inventory. Visit a friends town. Restart game. Put cooling towers back and then mr burns task was ready

    EA technicians. Ha.. Priceless.

    Try storing everything that you can log out then back in. See if that works.. Again EA technicians soon funny.

    Hi everyone!

    I finally discovered why my hospital quest had stalled.

    I noticed a task for Kent Brockman in the task list which had been there for ages. It was to record the weather broadcast. Every time I noticed it in the past I had already got Kent doing a different task so I couldn't start the new one. Gradually I just forgot about it, especially when I became so focused on how to start the hospital quest. What was interesting that the task did not come up in Kents personal to do list. It also had nothing to do with the hospital task. So I didn't think about it each time I sent him on a mission. Then the other day, I saw the item on the bar on the left and clicked it. Kent happened to be free. And now the hospital quest has restarted and I am just 1 task away from completing!

    Phew!

    Thank you for this list. I now know that nuking the town helped. It's triggered quests on this list, i just finished 11, now on 12.
