the only significant thing I can see is under characters right at the end is 4th of july 2013 with Lincoln and rex banner no characters have prompted it they were all off jobs apart from krusty,sea captain and chief wiggum so just have to wait and see it may be a pre update for a larger update coming??

Just cleared everyone off their tasks and no one got any tasks apart from Homer lounging in the pool for 6hrs & Moleman for his Hr task

Same here. So I checked the land expansion. It took me straight to the bottom of the map. I wanted to check the mountains by the ocean but it won't let me scroll up. I can go sideways across the map but can't go above the first plot on along the bottom.

EA is teasing us now "see these new characters?" Neener neener, you can't do anything with them!

I'm going to lose my mind if I have to wait till the 4th to get my hands on them, lol (only kidding).

Anybody figure out how to unlock them?

Mine showed new decorations and new premiums, checked my game and my husbands in case it was character triggered. Nothing new.

Seems like its a prep update since they won't be at work on the 4th of July they give us the update now and as soon as it becomes July 4th we get access to everything in this update
