Nelson's house (run down dump of a house) with the associated Nelson character.
Martin Character with quests for Nelson to torment him and Milhouse (Wedges and what not)
Smithers (probally another buy with Donuts character)
    The Jebidah Springfield statue
Some sort of involvement of the Aliens (Chronos and whatever the other ones name is)
Some sort of involvement of Sideshow Bob
(Although i dont think the last two should be characters per say.. they dont seem the helpful types)

OH, you should totally do some sort of Halloween promotion or event which gives you the aliens.. that would be epic.

The Jebidiah Springfield statue and Sideshow Bob are already involved. Sideshow Bob comes to the town and runs around and you just have to tap on him to send him back to jail or something like that. I don't remember the specifics, it happened 1 time for me a long time ago despite the fact that the game said it would happen frequently like once a day or something.

As for the statue you're supposed to tap Homer 10 times while he's doing a task outside and he gives it to you...but that hasn't worked for me and I still don't have it. Other people do though because I've seen it in towns.

As for what I'd like included, I'd like to see cars but I'm not sure if that's possible or not, it might be a lot to program in. I would like to see Lenny and Carl as characters and I'm sure Doctor Hibbert could be added with his own building. Having themed seasons would be an excellent touch as well like Bloodcutter mentioned. Halloween decorations for Halloween, snow and Christmas decorations for Christmas, etc. The water in the town can freeze over and maybe characters can ice skate on it or something like that to add a specific winter task? Just throwing it out there.

There are so many characters that need to be added to the game...

Selma and Petty from the bouvier family...
I want to have Ralph Wiggum and Sarah combined with a House of this Family.
Also Nelson and other children like Rod & Todd, Martin, Wendell Borton,Sherri and Terri...
    Ruth and Laura Powers (neigbours)

Lenny and Carl have to be added! (Lennys apartment in addition)
Edna Krabappel, Chalmers, Elizabeth Hoover and Otto from the school.
Beeman and Kent Brockment from the tv studios.
Rainier Wolfcastle and Troy McClure from the celebs section.
    Horatio McCallister (the old seamen)
Lindsay Naegle and Lionel Hutz (business)
Dr. Julius Hibbert and Nick Rivieria (doctors)

The ability to put my donuts into storage so they aren't wasted whenever I click on things. Seriously.

The incredible ease with which the developers make it for me to blow my donuts on inadvertent tapping does not motivate me to give them any real money.

How about a quest to build school playground equipment? You could get one of the school kids like Martin or the twin girls as the reward.

I want multiple pages for friends because right now I apparently hit the max and can't add any more fiends. I want more characters and a easier way to earn donuts besides leveling up and the box...

I'd like to be able to interact with friends a little more. At least be able to send them a quick message that I stopped by to take care of their stuff (I can never tell who stopped by my town... sometimes I get a pop up on my phone but not always). So that would be another thing... If I could tell who stops by my town. Oh! And it would be cool if we could send gifts to awesome people who are always helping in my town. As a thank you.

Also, when visiting the main town where you go to visit other friends - I wish they were not listed in alphabetical order, but the ones who need visiting go first, and then the rest after that. I know that means they always rotate but then I don't have to slide page after page trying to find towns I need to visit.

It's kinda strange having streets with no cars. Doesn't have to be super loaded with cars, but maybe a taxi or Marge's car or something. Make them some kind of quest.

How about Fat Tony and his crew? Build his social club and then have them go around and collect the money from all your businesses with just one click. They could hijack a donut truck once a month and get a random amount of donuts.

Oh yeah, give Milhouse a voice!

Some very good suggestions made here by others.

Some improvements that I personally would like to see:

    1. Improved network connectivity coupled, perhaps, with the ability to play offline when the servers are down. This should be EA's top priority in my opinion. Right now server reliability is quite iffy.
    2. Better audio. I find each character's verbal repertoire to be really limited. This is a facet of the game where it could really shine.
    3. More decorations: paths, playground equipment, etc., etc.
    4. Better control over placement of objects. It would be nice, for example, if objects could be fully rotated.
    5. Someone else has already mentioned the zoom issue; it would be nice to be able to take a snapshot of your town in its entirety.

I would be impressed if the writers of the show and game are actually using this forum as a source of ideas.

    Anyhoo....

I'd like to see the possibility of expanding the town on the waterfront. I'd love to build Burns's casino, put a restaurant or two on the water. Build a pier and have a boat for the Captain. Maybe a lighthouse. Maybe build a small dock for the house boats.

Full zoom out ability would be nice.

A chat feature with other players.

we NEED a way to get more donughts thru gameplay ( not buy buying them with real money!)

maybe they could make donughts available for purchase with in game money, this would kill 2 birds with one stone because we would have something to spend our money on, and a way to get more donughts ( other than buying them with real money like a *)

nobody like the rich kid who blazes thru the game just cuz he has his parents credit card info.... give us real gamers a chance to get donuts too

Re zilcheno's comment about acquiring more donuts through gameplay: that would indeed be nice, but it's hardly likely to happen to any real degree. Personally, I think the donuts are obscenely expensive, but on the other hand I understand that EA needs some way to monetize the game. That is, after all, how these freemium games work.
