The amount of items is going to get pretty ridiculous soon. Instead of a scroll bar, I think dividing the items up into different categories would be better.
Swiping doesn't really bother me, it allows me to see everything to remind myself of the options for fences or trees or whatever it is I'm looking to buy.

And why can't the items be in alphabetical order, with new items at the beginning. Your inventory (for the most part) is alphabetical. At least then you would know where to go when you are looking for something. They usually put the new items at the end, except squidport items are smack dab in the middle, because that's when they are unlocked.

Items are currently sorted by level unlocked. While thats not helpful for Level 30s... its essential for me at Level 14. Can't change that.
I like making it easier to scan through though... the buildings list tends to start at the end, so everytime I build I have to scroll through 30 buildings to get to my level.

E.g. trees & bushes; fences, hedges & walls etc.
CATIGORIES. - ITEM
Houses- All coloured houses
Trees- All Trees
Fences- All fences
Buildings- All buildings
And so on, I think this would be a quicker way of finding what you need.
I like this idea better as a solution.
+1
