For those of you who don't currently have Duff Brewery/Duffman, I SPECULATE that there is going to be a promo where you can buy them for $50k. I'm not sure when, as this is, of course, pure speculation... Save your yummy donuts for other things if you're contemplating getting him.
The price isn't 50K.
The deal is Duff/Sign/50K for an undetermined amount of donuts. Check the Krustyland thread

You are right. I guess I misread ...er..um...speculated wrong..
Updated original post to reflect proper SPECULATION.

I would speculate that your speculation is incorrect. I would put forth the speculation that while the Duff brewery may be on sale at some unknown point in the future, it will still be for donuts, but come with $50,000 as a bonus. I think they had a similar sale previously? That came with cash and/or a Homer Buddha?
Why do they keep packaging in game cash in these lousy Gil deals? They did that crap with Frink too and no one bought it because it was an embarrassingly bad deal. They need to package only premium content together (like when they did the Springfield Sign and Volcano Lair).

They must be counting on newer players to take these. It'll be interesting to see how many donuts it will cost, if it's a realistic deal this time.
What did the Frink deal work out to be, after taking the normal donut cost of a Buddha and the lab away? Basically 90donuts for $50k in-game cash? Pfft! Pfft, I say!

Well considering it's currently 325 donuts for $50k, it could be considered a deal.

I took this into account when I (embarrassingly) bought the Frink deal from Gil. Dalton is right, that deal preyed on newer players for sure. Any veteran or even someone with a few months experience knew that it was a bad deal. I had probably only been playing for two weeks when I bought the deal. $50K seemed like a lot of money at the time, especially because I had no idea that the land and newer buildings would cost so much later on down the track.
But hey, I got SVT from a Mystery Box that I got from the Homer Buddha that can't with the deal so I'd call that a win.

Absolutely... I'm a relatively new player who has been considering the Duff Brewery for a while. I'm definitely getting the Sign at some point (almost got it last night, actually), but have read enough threads to know that it can pay off to wait.
If there is an upcoming bundle that will discount these together, it will be immediately bought by me.
I've been thinking about getting Duffman for a while now and I could use the in-game cash after Wolfcastle bankrupted me yesterday. Just hope the sign isn't part of the deal as I already have it.
