Sometimes your game session associated with your device ID becomes corrupted. I'm not saying this is your issue, it's just a possibility. So, try accessing your town from another mobile device. If you get in, then logout of that device and then try accessing your town from the original device that's currently having the problem. By logging into your town from another device you reset the session between the game servers and your device that has the issue.

For anyone else having issues, click this link https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ask and try to chat with a representative. The more people that do it, the more they'll see that this is a problem impacting a number of people.
unable to login since 25++ hours
not funny anymore!
Lvl31 with the new building, might that be the problem? friend says im the only one with that building amongst his friends and im the only one he can't access. Im on part 3 or 4 in the wolfcastle questline..
get you're act together pls, it's not funny anymore to not be able to enter my springfield.. even more so, after loosing my city 2 times (didn't even get donuts in return...), hope it's not the case this time.

I logged out of Origin just to see what happened and got the very first start up cinematic .... so hope this hasnt wiped my game completely....
I logged back into Origin and got the "cannot connect" again....
I chatted with EA Support. They said they were escalating my issue to the mobile department, and I should hear back "in a few days." The guy I chatted with said they aren't aware of any iOS server issues, but now I'm locked out on Android, too, so...I don't know.
I strongly suggest everybody who is having trouble contact EA so they know this is impacting many people.
