Just checked the FB page again and the "last chance to get Kang" message was posted November 5th, and thats when we got the last update, so stands to reason it would happen again.

And whos Neil?

I didn't realize that they posted that about Kang. I guess it's reasonable to assume an update is coming based on that, though I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Ah I saw the thread but didnt click it because of the title...nevermind. Im not getting my hopes up massively, but Im getting bored of nothing to do so fingers crossed regardless! :P

No we didn't. They extended Halloween for a week longer. It's coming on the 5th.

This is correct.

December 5th is end of support for older devices, but there may not even be an update on that exact day. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that the behind-the-scenes update coming on or after 12/5 is not the update that gives us Christmas items.

Also, the Halloween update came 4 weeks before Halloween, and tomorrow is 4 weeks before Christmas.

The Halloween items were pulled 5 days after Halloween, and tomorrow is 5 days after Thanksgiving.

12/5 is pure speculation. All signs point to tomorrow being the Christmas release.

Although a Dec 5th update sounds the most realistic, I would not be surprised if one came tomorrow; if only a small teaser.

It could EA's last chance to nudge people on the fence about upgrading their devices to keep playing the game if they got a taste of what's in store.

Unless it's a Holidays update to include New Year's items, there really isn't much time between the 5th up til Christmas to earn/enjoy the Christmas decor (19/20 days) before taking them down.

A Christmas update really should have come with Black Friday.

Yea, there were two last chance posts about Kang. One a week ahead of time and then one the day before being pulled. This could go either way. I still think they'll wait until December though

Umm, I just double checked every post they ever had on their Facebook page, and there has only been one of this sort. (There was a different post saying that it was the final WEEK--a week earlier.)

The only "last chance" message ever was at the end of the Halloween update. The message was posted on 11/5 just after midnight eastern time. Level 23 was rolled out 12 hours after that, and the Thanksgiving balloons came out the next day.

I am ready for a big old update now there is nothing to do other than collect funds and move stuff about. Flower arranging is not a selling point for the game

I resorted to sim city last night but that's even more bug laiden so gave up. Bring on level 24

Also, the content updates that have us level 23 and Thanksgiving balloons came as in-game updates. There was an App Store update around the same time that fixed some bugs and made adjustments to improve gameplay, but had no visible effect on the game. The updates were totally independent. No reason to think it will be any different this time around.

They may roll out level 24 and/or Christmas tonight, and then not release the app store update that kills the 1st gen iPods until next week or later. Sucks to be one of the people who gets to see the Christmas update for a few days before they lose the game entirely!

I made my post about the last updates on November 5th, so on December 5th I might be making another one if EA haven't changed the way they do the updates because of my leak, so we'll see on or around the 5th of December if there any update files to look into.

And I'm guessing that further updates, Christmas is maybe the start where there are more building / decoration animations that of course maker the older devices not compatiable due to resourses the game needs to 'run the animations'

I hope not, I'm only 5,000 away from getting the last balloon. Really want to be able to get all 3 for the quest.
