Original player before rerelease

I've been playing since March 1st, 2012, the release in North America. My Springfield got reset back then, but since rerelease, I've had NO problems at all.

I was one of the lucky ones who didn't really experience any issues on the first release. It was certainly buggy though! Lots of "infinite quest loops" and weird rendering issues. But I managed to max out the levels and actually got to the "bored" point what with no new "real" quests or character/building additions being made during the re-write period.

At the launch of V2 though I was pretty annoyed at EA for resetting my entire Springfield. I lost all of my land, except for 8 sections and had to buy it all back, which was ridiculously expensive seeing as though I'm not a "farmer" (although I did consider the dark side a time or two during that period).

All that is behind us now and life in my Springfield is back to being tranquil and happy! I'm thinking what I can do for its 1 year anniversary though!? Maybe I'll buy each house some new flower beds? Or a crazy fishy ballon! Hmmm...

    Cheers!

I too have been playing since March 1st. No real big issues other than the usual take me back to the main menu after the first 30 seconds of playing the game. After that no issues. I was one of the lucky ones who never experienced any real problems. My town deleted once, but I was able to retrieve it a few days after. This was months ago. Also in June or July I was having game crashes back to back, but after like 3 days it fixed itself.

Have you tried deleting your pending friend requests using the Origin Client? I did that this past weekend (I had over 500) and I haven't had the crash problem since! It's so much less frustrating now!

I would if if I wouldn't get the "can't connect to sever" message when trying to load the invites.

Ah! See that's the sneaky part... You need to go to your PC and download the Origin Client! Install that and then use it to login to your account using your regular tapped out ID. From inside you can "clean house"! It takes time, but it very well may be a solution to your annoyance!
It certainly can't hurt your situation!
