Right now I'm close to 500K in savings. I'm level 23 and have all the non premium buildings.

Christmas is my favorite season of the year, so I want to splurge, I will probably buy all the premium items too, Christmas related.

So that's my plan, if you can call it that name.

I started saving for the Black Friday that never happened. I'm saving for the December update now. I have 6k saved up. I'll buy land on e the update comes. If nothing happens then I will simply redesign my town and spend some more cash. Prolly wont buy doughnuts until after christmas

Do you have any idea when it will be? The rumor is that it will be December 5th but has anyone heard anything else?

Dec 5 is confirmed via their FB page. The rumor part is that they will release for items. The only thing we know for sure is that it's an update to make the game more stable and better compatible to newer iPhones.

$6000? I'm guessing you meant $600,000 since you can probably get $6000 in a couple of hours.

I've been saving up a TON of cash, trying to get on every 60min so I can buy the Post Office and get closer to being capped. I want to be immediately set to start Level 24 when it updates. (And whatever Christmas surprises EA gives us.)

Ive been doing the same things as u

I'm not necessarily saving or planning for the update but I'm definitely looking forward to it. I am actually waiting for the December update, hoping it's big like Halloween, and planning to completely redesign my city when I've worked all the way through the update.

I am maxed out XP on level 23 - been building my Springfield slowly. I like it to look like a real town and only have one of each building. My next building is the Retirement Castle, but I am now just expanding - I want to improve the design of the Penetentiary and Power Plant, which will take space - as will any additions for the Xmas update - so expanding is all I am concentrating on at the moment.

I cracked open the rum and egg nog, does that count?

I would like my town to be stable so I can expand and hope the update will address the glitches in the game.
Not really preparing for anything. I have empty land parcels waiting for what may come.
If they do a virtual snowball fight for vandalizing, I am well prepared for that bit of fun. Have tons of the white stuff already in my yard and know how to play in snow, so no preparations needed.

Good luck to all of you in preparing your town and hope you will be ready for the next Tapped Out surprise!

That's what I was thinking they might do too... Snowball houses and put tinsel in trees to collect candy canes. Maybe a snowman, Santa Claus, snow fort as items to be purchased.

I'm also hoping for Santa's Little Helper to make an entrance, since his name is Santa... would be way better than a Krusty doll or Burns monster!

I've been saving up money for the update instead of buying land. I am up to 500K. I also hope they change back the title screen and get rid of the bones hand and blood.

Alright I cut myself off from buying anything to stockpile some cash. Depending on how much I have early next week I have two plots of land I want to buy to rearrange Channel 6 studio and the town square. Not a pressing need until I have plenty of cash. I feel like the town square will be an ongoing project. I just got the lemon tree and could see it fitting nicely with the right decorations.
