I assume they are talking about tickets from friends towns.
On my game, I can visit friends Krustylands and if you are quick enough and tap in the middle upper centre of screen, you get tickets from the KL entrance.
If you don't click quick enough, they just disappear and the KL has no clickable tickets.
If that makes sense!
Basically on the KLs that have no ticket opportunities, (I've never fully understood this, I assume it's when they haven't logged in for a while or others have visited and redeemed the tickets available) those KLs you can get tickets from anyway if click quick enough when you land on KL.

The update didn't fix the ticket glitch for me. Still works! I just tap just above homer's head on the loading screen and them you get the tickets before they disappear!
I can tell you what it did NOT fix... the game still crashes. Mine crashed about a minute or so after the update as I was scrolling through town collecting jobs and buildings. Great for those who got their headaches fixed, but other wrinkles remain to be ironed out.
I got the update, tiny one. I thought it was one of those random ones you get when for some reason you device version doesn't match the server version.
Probably a glitch/bug fix since the overall size didn't change.... :?:
