You're not going anywhere. You're staying right here! you've got a great town mate, don't let it go to waste! Arnie Pie, Eddy and Lou aren't too far away and Halloween is on the horizon. Whenever I'm uninspired I just watch a bunch of Simpsons DVDs and all of a sudden I'm back at it.
Has anyone found they are loosing interest. The last few days i seem to have been i am not one to moan about updates but krustyland just isn't doing anything for me i just don't feel it
I'm a veteran world of warcraft player - I've been playing for 8+ years and it still hasnt gotten boring enough to leave the game. Sometimes i take breaks from it, but theres always stuff to do, people to interact with, etc.
Its like the simpsons. Once you've done everything, theres still a lot to do. Ok so you finished krustyland..you can still talk to your friends here on the website and shift into more of and advisory role. Help out the younger players who dont have the experience that you do. Put your SP people on 24 hr tasks and check into them once a day or two. Save up for the next level and the future. You can give up krustyland and visiting your friends cities. just take small bites and do stuff sparingly. Is your squidport expanded or is it still a squishport all packed up like a suitcase and waiting to be expanded? Is there anything you want to do with your SF? If there isnt, thats ok..but think about the future and what you will want to do. do 24 hr tasks a few days a week and save up for the aspirationals
I see what you are saying, I just started building the food needle and have 3,000 tickets left, I know the next ride is like 7,500 tickets which I don't like... its such a grind so I do not look forward to collecting all of those..but I still put all the kl characters on the 30min tasks, sucks but I dont like seeing the rides in the build menu once they are unlocked... I hate waiting...
One of the things that causes burnout is not waiting. Rushing things takes time away from the game and gives an immediate gratification but it also takes time spent away. The more you are away from the game, the less burned out you will be. I dont like seeing the rides in the build menu once they are unlocked either but it gives me something to look forward to be interested in planning for them.
30 min tasks are a grind and im very glad that i got 60 min tasks gong on. I dont check them every 60 mins but thats ok. I dont have to. I can play at my rate of speed and enjoyment. You dont have to have everything now because if you do then youll get bored a lot faster with it.

Sounds like some great advice mate, i'm deffo not going anywhere, the thought of Halloween is definately keeping me in there. Still got the million $ buildings to get as well... Coming soon hopefully
I'm just going to keep doing krustyland in the back ground but i just haven't got the love for it like my town
I love KL ! It looks great, I cannot wait to have all rides and a bit more land to properly design and decorate it. At first I thought the 36 hr building construction time was excessive but actually it gives us time to collect tickets for the next quest. I used to visit my neighbors before the update, so it's fine to visit them now to get tickets . The good thing is that there's no rush, no deadline, so we can build it at our own pace.
I'm not really feeling KL because it's just that...it's KL. I downloaded the app because I could design my very own SF. I will carry on with KL until I get all the land and items but hope EA keep it as a side project and make the SF map their priority, continuing with ever more buildings and most importantly land expansions.

Now while I will finish KL, I just dont have the drive to make it look good or do much with it. So like someone else said I hope EA does not put a whole bunch of effort in to it when there is still so much more that they could do with the main springfield.

I agree that theres so much more to do with SF but its a nice change of pace to work on krusty land. You dont have to do much with KL. Just work at your own pace and take care of KL when the desire strikes you.
I'm starting to loose interest in the game too. I dont know why i feel that way but I'm not as exited to play the game anymore. maybe designing 5 towns for my family made me tired of it. I'm still going to play but only 1 time everyday.
