I always felt that homer Buddha should give something worth 15 donuts or more cause why pay 15 donuts for a 10 donut item
Like give me 15 white fences out of it so I got my donut worth atleast
Why?
If you buy lottery ticket, do you always get your money back?
It's different with this they already have your money and now they make you waste your currency so you have to buy more where lottery ticket you spend money to try and win more money.
You can only spend those donuts in the game no where else so its guaranteed money in their pocket already. Where if I buy a lottery ticket and lose I'm out a currency I could've spent anywhere I wanted.
until the homer buddha glitch was fixed with the krustland update i could get whatever i wanted when i received a mystery box in a mystery box or a buddha in a mystery box.
It's amazing that people still buy Homer Buddhas then complain when they get crappy items or mystery boxes. If there's a premium item you want, just get it! The odds of getting something like Frink's Lab are extremely small and you could just buy it straight up for what 10 Buddhas would cost. It sure beats getting tons of white fences and planters that you don't want or need.

I bought two of these back when I first started playing.
And quickly learned they were a rip off. I got the Misery Box with one, and it had something like parking lots or hedges. And 5 white fences in the second. In almost a year, I have not bought another one since it is so obviously a rip off.
If EA wanted people to spend their money on donuts, they would make sure that the HB always gave out the minimum amount that those donuts could have gotten if something else was purchased. People might actually buy more of them.
