The first event I was around for was Wacking Day. That seemed to drag on forever. I am looking forward to Halloween though. I'm always jealous of the decorations and buildings I missed out on.

Yeah, I'm ready for Halloween too. Since its our first repeat event though, I'm wondering if they'll bring anything old back at all.

Dead trees again please! I was just starting when the Halloween update came last year. I didn't know better than to only buy one!

Halloween was the only event I missed, so I am especially hopeful that much of last years content will be available. I have put off anymore Donut purchases until this event comes around, even though I'd very much like to pull the trigger on Disco Stu, at least he isnt limited time.

I only bought 10 last time because I was in game poor and have regretted it forever.
I hope they don't release anything that they did last time so I am hoping they release a different dead tree.

They should have rolling fog in our Springfield for Halloween.
Take note, EA. Or just hire me to be your creative hand. :-) :-):wink::):) :-)

It would be nice if it started on October 3rd as it's my birthday... Although I'm travelling that day and probably wouldn't be able to play it as soon as it updates :/

I wonder if any of those two things will appear in the Halloween episode tie-ins, like the Mayans and Black-hole last year...

Agreed.. This was my way of thinking as well. Can't wait for the Halloween update myself. Last years was the best update IMO

Yes Halloween was pretty awesome except i hope we get a way to use extra candy this time instead of homer eating them all. who knows if candy will even be the currency again.

Yea, the stockings at Christmas were pretty damn nice lol. But I doubt they'd do doughnuts for Halloween. Cash would be nice but I didn't mind to much about the candy not being used. I just wish we knew it wouldn't. I remember there being rumors that on the day of Halloween last year Kodos would be a bonus for 500 treats lmao. And the extra candy would be converted to doughnuts in some fashion. And I feel for the troll and kept collecting candy lol.

    The stockings were the best

i think they will implement something along those lines for Halloween this time around as last time it was their first event and they didn't think about the extra candy and it was just easier to do nothing and say homer ate them

That made me so angry when they hand-waved the candy away with "Homer ate them"...

I'm not 100% on this but there was a lot of bugs with the Christmas update people weren't able to get in for weeks so I think the stockings were meant as a way to apologize for the bugs

I'm really hoping for one of those blue gremlins from Tree House of Horror IV. Just something that walks around town, maybe scratches up a vehicle or two.

(Would have been much better than the Burn's monster)

Lol. Not to mention, you weren't even referring to the date in any way in the post that was quoted :) But hey, in case you don't remember, it's coming October 1st ;)
