Im at nearly 10,000 Goo a little over a week into the event, as many are, and I never got my undies in a twist over friends double tapping. Really doesnt bother me.
I do try and avoid doing it though, but once in a while I hit one by accident. There is one exception...
...I have one neighbor that had 10,000 Goo on the very first day, so obviously he paid for his Goo and I doubt he cares if once in a while I unhaunt one or two of his buildings. As a matter of fact, given his town is overrun with ghosts and haunted houses, I wonder if he bothers to check in more than once a day.
Any player that will buy all the prizes on day one of the event obviously has no shortage of donuts and doesnt need the goo.
There you go, that's my confession.

Indeed, and the lemon tree "theft" was directly related to a storyline in the show. But yes, imagine the crying we'd see over a "stolen" lemon tree today. I guess my problem with the idea of "goo theft" is that it isn't mentioned as such by EA in any way, yet lots of players are spinning an insignificant issue into some kind of silly crusade for decency, when the root issue is their own "goo anxiety" (my counter to your made-up "goo theft") I'm not buying all the denunciations of double-tappers-as-criminals, no matter how you try to paint it. Now, I seem to have no problem with double tappers, as my buildings all regularly get haunted, so if you REALLY NEED to hit 1,000,000 goo in your SF by Nov 7, come on down and double-tap my buildings. There's more than enough to go around, and I'll gladly share! Cheers.
Dam this place has become a whining baby day care. IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS!! EA made it like that for a reason, it's all part of the game. ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE TIME to get EVERYTHING, this is only the first week. People who have over 10,000 GOO can care less but people under 10,000 you should still stop caring. For the people who still care that are over 10,000 what do you guys care about getting extra GOO??? Its not like you can do anything else with them but get donuts like bonus gift boxes. If donuts is the problem heres something better instead of wasting your 2 hours tapping everyone to get 3 donuts, get a job for 2 hours and you will get more than 3 donuts (if its that serious). Geezz....You guys keeping records and stuff about friends you made online about GOO they stole in virtual game....like for real do you HEAR how you guys sound???
All that being said. I still DOUBLE HAUNT and people can double haunt me all they want and they do and I will continue to DOUBLE HAUNT :twisted: :twisted:
I have a few neighbors that are over the 10,000 goo by a mile, I double haunt them. But neighbors that clearly need it, I don't. Unless it's by accident, sometimes I forget to click buildings first before chasing after ghosts

You know what? I'm not even sure that it will be a bad thing, because really often it happens that when I enter my SF and I clean an haunted house, after few seconds it is haunted again... So, I imagine it was haunted, double haunted... And maybe triple haunted... I don't know, but in any case you are plenty of time to reach the 10k goo, and if you need feel free to visit my SF and double haunt!
I have reached 10k today, despite the fact that I never removed a "friend" just because supposed to double haunt...
Why are you so worried? If you are over 2168 goo you are still in a perfect run for the 10k target..
It's a game, come on...
Ps English is not my first language, so avoid comments on the grammar or spelling mistakes... Except if you can do it in Italian with no mistakes ;-)
When I visit other SF's, I do double haunt, but only the once and if it's in close proximity when you first enter your friends SF.
For example, I go into guest12345 SF and can see haunted buildings and ones that aren't. I will haunt two that aren't already haunted and one that is (taking up the three allocation). However, if I enter guesty12548 SF and the buildings aren't haunted, I will haunt the three of them.
