I bought donuts with real money, used those to buy a Homer Budda (premium item every time!)..got a Mystery Box. Inside the mystery box..a tree. What a ripoff.

I think is is kind of **** when you get the $250 or $500. You get that much for day 3 and/or 4. The mystery box should at least, if its gonna give you money, give more money then the prior days.

I cried once when I splurged for a homer Buddha and got a mystery box which had a parking lot in it. 15 donuts for a parking lot...

So, I wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them.

I got my Mystery Box from logging on 5 days straight blah blah blah.

Opened it, won a Mystery Box. Lol. Went to inventory, opened my new Mystery Box. Won a Mystery Box. *facepalm*

Opened that one and got a measly 250 cash lol.

Anyone else win mystery boxes twice in a row from another box before? Or maybe more?

Had that exact same mystery box this week, but than again I ALWAYS have crappy mystery box, the only time I had a really good (free donuts) the game crashed and I ended up with something crappy as usual :x

I bought an Homer Buddha once when I started playing the game because I thought it was how I could get SVT (I know...lame), got a mystery box and inside something crappy as usual... I know better now and will never ever ever ever buy a Homer Buddha again. But I blame the game for letting us think we can actually get something good when we start the game and get those donuts from a mystery box. Those donuts should come with a warning like "take a good at them it is the last good item you will get from a mystery box! Or Not an actual prize in reality! "

Mystery box/homer Buddha are the worst things about the game probably.... Never have gotten a premium item and sorry EA I don't consider white fence or a different colored trash can to be premium. Those items suck! And yes I usually get a tree or something crap if I get in the mystery box to mystery box loop..... Spent donuts on homer Buddha - once - got bench with coat or whatever on it- again, not premium in my view- never do that again - it may take FOREVER to collect an outrageous number of donuts (if * goin to be so expensive they could be Slightly easier to collect) to buy the premium things I would like- but at least when I get them saved I'll know what I'm purchasing with them!

I wouldn't mind white fence but no.... Just plain old wooden fence and failing that if I'm really lucky it will be not wooden fence ... It will be tree

    yep, it happens

it's random, so there is a chance of that happening

The weird thing is, if they just updated the Homer Buddha so that all the new premium items could randomly come up, I feel like a lot more people would feel like it was worth it. Once you have Squeaky Voiced Teen and Moleman and the lemon tree, there's pretty much no reason to ever buy it. They should at least throw in limited time items that are no longer available, like a clearance rack or something; just the chance at those things would get a bunch of people wasting their money on Buddhas again.

I got a lot of parking meters for a while. Fun. Mystery boxes used to give me good stuff, like the lemon tree &the squeaky voiced teen.
My friend seems to get a lot of donuts. No justice!

I've had that happen a few times. All I can think is that its "Mystery Box-ception!"

Then I get a newspaper dispenser.

This. The Homer Buddha really needs an item update. Even if no limited items are added, at least include the new items! The excitement is dulled by the short list of prizes.
