 WOW, just read all the post, great ideas. It kind of got be excited, I could care less of Krustyland now. I hope we get a big update come with all these bushes/palm tree/restaurant (bank)/land tiles/boats/parking spots with cars. Town feels empty. Dirt /gravel tiles be cool. Getting fences to overlap again would be nice.
Wish we could add in extra characters (just reg joes) who go sit on benches and at tables, just interact with objects. You could have a extra joe counter you can choice how many in your town....oh and characters not on task go and interact with objects on there own also.
I like the night/day switch, so much potential for this game.
I really hope we get these decorations, like a few of you said, my parks are starting to look alike.
OK, this may not be the best thread to post this screenshot, but I've just had a weird graphics glitch in my town. Does anyone know what these graphics are from? Are they from an old event or are they new from a forthcoming update?
If you could put squid port tiles on normal water, so it's like a fishing bit in a lake. And also i want to join the water from the sea with the water from the land if any on gets what I mean by that? And picnic tables so I can make my sea front look better! And I would love to see the giant Popsicle stick homer that Marge makes when Homer gets his ice cream truck, it would cost 4,000,000
Wow, this thread was made back in June. I guess it's still relevant though. I always wondered why we cant at least get the decorations that are already incorporated in some buildings, i.e. Krusty Hotel's tables or the trees by some buildings.
so many great ideas from all of you. I really want cars, even just random ones. I also think we should add random people / characters, such as in KL. boats would be awesome too, we could somehow create a marina alongside the squid port
For a long time I have wished for an update where we receive only decorations, but there would obviously be many. I think that would be real cool, it would bulk up our towns nicely. :-)
#1 i think someone mentioned it, but picnic table is one i've been wanting for a while. What park, pavilion or even fast food joint's outdoor eating is complete without one?
#2 patio pavers - they have the patio tables with the earth tone pavers but nothing matches. i want to build a patio or walkway, etc that matches! Stone pavers would be nice too
#4 water features - things to put in the water or edged water pieces to make pools or other water features with a more classy look than the rough grass edge
Sidewalk (to match the road) and nature pathway tiles. 1x1 or 1x2 size only.
Rockfaces/cliffs similar to the bluff for Springfield Falls.
Hills similar to the hill the Burns manor is on, but with an open tiled area on top that stuff can be placed on, and multiple hills placed together would "merge" to be a continuous ridge.
Floating freshwater decorations like speedboats, docks, ducks, frogs, plants, etc for large lake (river) areas.
The ability to make lakes round rather than squareish.
A firehall.
Cars that actually fit on the road.
Flowerbeds that don't look like they were created with MS Paint. The rose bushes from Valentines Day are a better model to base from.
The monorail. Raised track laid similar to roads (but probably with quest/cost like the Squidport tiles), monorail station placed manually, and the monorail itself an automatic animation that follows however much track there is.
Boulders similar to the Whacking Day snake rock, but sans snake.
Gates for each fence type. And then characters who know to use them instead of just plowing through any old fence line.
Tumbleweeds and similar flora suitable for rundown areas.
Oak and maple trees. Russian olive trees have a kind of silvery green color and dark bark. Trees with red foliage in summer (I don't know what they are called). Lilac trees. Cherry trees. Junipers. Tamaracks (conifers that shed their needles in winter). More shrubs and things based on assets already attached to existing buildings.
A lawn mower, in good and/or crap condition.
Swimming pools.
360° rotating benches.
Traffic lights (but only if they can rotate 360° and we have cars to place on the roads).
Better brick walls.
A Homer Buddha to place beside the temple.
A garbage truck.
A car dealership.
City buses, depot, and bus stops.
A wheelchair.
Discarded shopping carts.
Mailboxes.
Park stuff: slides, merry-go-rounds, sandboxes.
A pole with a camera on it. Because, you know, Big Brother.

More items should also be able to be placed the beach. I'd also like some cliffs for coastal sections as well as beach.
why can't all the building and other items be spun 360 since they must of designed them like that.
mixed colored cars like the krusty car park.
and ofc stampy the elephant
I'd also like some more terrains. Like sand and dirt etc
What do you think?

#3 Sculpted hedges - classier looking shrubs for classier looking properties.
