This thread is hilarious. The list of how many it takes to change a lightbulb/light bulb made my day and the question of spelling between "doughnuts" and "donuts" is really broadening my horizons beyond my normal argument between "pop" and "soda" (or maybe the generic "Coke"). I am from Michigan and now live in Texas I still say a carbonated beverage should be called "pop" but when I say it here in Texas "give me a large pop" I get the strangest looks of confusion...or as AM put a gif of Sheldon, a look of derision.
Oh, I do not want to know how much I have spent, my wife would kill me
A little over $60 dollars would be my estimate. I still have over 120 donuts I haven't used (I'm not counting the ones I've gotten from this Halloween).
EDIT: Scratch that. I have now spent a total of $70. I got the Tray of 132 Donuts.

That was incredibly awesome. Maybe the best post I've ever seen on this forum.

It's missing:
18 to post GIFs about light bulbs.
That's exactly what I was thinking!
Not to mention the 5 odd people who will try to turn it into an "add-me" thread
Those threads are irrelevant now. The mere fact that this game continues to release new content means that people will probably continue to spend more money, some people might not spend any but others will continue to spend and spend.
I have probably spent $100 since the most recent of those threads was started.
i bought a 69p scratcher.... which turned into a £1.99 box of donuts... which turned into a £6.99 batch.
no more.... saving money to get married and £6.99 would have bought me at least 0.005% of my dress
I suspect you misplaced the decimal point a couple places! Otherwise you wouldn't be sweating over a measly seven pounds. My wife and I had a Marge and Homer wedding cake topper (Prom Marge and Homer action figures) and then we forgot to put it on the damn cake. Oh, well.
Someone in one of these threads said they bought one Golden Scratcher per month as a very reasonable $1/month rate. I've adopted that philosophy. I've been playing for three calendar months and have purchased 3 scratchers (yielding 79 donuts so far).

ROFL!!!!!
USA/UK Race To Throw Country Into Utter Chaos = TOO CLOSE TO CALL
About $300 ... It was either spend it on designing my springfield, or spend it to buy food.
Food is overrated, plus you never have the excitement of discussing whether a pastry that's offered for a "limited time" should ever be offered at any price to those who missed it the first time around, whether or not the bakery is willing to offer it.
So my money has been very well spent here.

I spent $0 on that game.
