My Springfield is lost!

Me too! I'm afraid to click on anything for fear of making the problem permanent. I hope this is fixed soon, come hell or high water.

Same problem on my Springfield. I was a lvl 35 as well. Now it is saying I have a lvl 2. This is frustrating to say the least. It would be nice if someone from ea would at least acknowledge the problem...

    Exact same problem as OP!

Says iTheres a level 8 Springfield already on device is this mine?

If I say no it tells me a new Springfield will be created?

    Any fix for this?

So finally I managed to fix this problem. I was checkin on a exact post on the EA/Origin Help HQ. The fix is very easy.

When prompted with the "There is a level # Springfield already in this device and click NO for answer, the game will ask you to start a New Springfield.

Click YES...don't be afraid. It will bring back your Original Springfield, NOTHING will be lost.

I'm already back on the game with the 4th bonus community prize.

    Keep on haunting ghouls!

So once you "create" a new one, then you just log in? Or what? I'm kind of scared to actually do that. Lol!

    UPDATE:

I have tried everything (literally all of the tips), even filed a claim with EA customer support. Nothing worked. So I got a friend of mine to check my Springfield from her own Origin account and she ensured that my level was still 35 and all of my buildings and characters were there, so I decided try the solution above one more time.

When it asks you to start a new game, you DO say "yes." It will bring you to your proper level. Seems counterintuitive, but I didn't lose any progress. One drawback for me is that I have to do this every time I go into my game.

I would recommend taking screenshots to keep track of your money and donuts, just in case you have to lodge a complaint at some point. They give you the option to attach images to your queries. You never know with this game's track record...so far so good, though!

Good luck, and I'll be sure to update if my level goes in the crapper again :(

Yes, clicking new should bring back your Springfield, I have done that plenty of times already.
However, every time I click it I hope it actually works, so it would be nice if this got fixed either way.
it happens every single time I log back in, I/we do not want to lose our springfield, fix it EA !
