Already level 38

The game will never "catch up." There are a lot of players who long-ago maxed out. Just enjoy the XP bonus levels and the donuts they award, and when new levels are released you will automatically level up. At this point, the only thing that levels really mean is the requirement of more Kwik E Marts for a 5-star rating.

Hmm ok so i just levelled up to lvl 36 ( was already mid way to level 38 pretty much)
and my xp is now 63016/185520... so where has all the rest of it gone as it was close to 305k before i levelled up?

Normally they take out the new limit to auto apply it to the level. Then whatever you had on top of that is where you are at.

hmm ok.. but then i should already be half way through lvl 37 as i "levelled up" or rolled for doughnuts twice at level 35... or the bar should be full anyway.

ah well

If the bar rolls, it's reset. You get donuts when it resets. It only takes the XP on the current meter, doesn't matter if you rolled it once, or 20 times.
