Same here. Got the message to many people are playing, now all my friends are gone :?

    its most prob temporary and yes I have the same. Theres no Origin icon in the bottom left corner when launching the game

    Me too! This a serious bunch of * for real. Now I got no friends, none. And now they're back this is super exciting news for me!!

    Yeah, this happened to me too just now. No friends and no origin icon. Glad it's not just me.

    Same here but notice that the link to Origin has disappeared from the friends page.
    It has on mine.
    I'd say just a glitch - be patient and see what happens.

    most likely a way of making the game more stable...when people get crazy in other's cities, the game gets even more unstable....it was like this during Halloween update

    Don't stress people. I have lost mine too, but this isn't the first time this has happened. It did it months ago but they always come back with all of your friends.

    I have the same thing but I reinstalled it n now I can't Iven see my town the cannot connect screen comes up

    it's all good, they are just doing maintenance on the servers

    I noticed the lack of an Origin icon after I got back in to finish visiting neighbors. Just got done with yours, actually. Even so, it still said I was signed in, just couldn't access my friends list/invites/etc. Got kicked off again and now there's a big "undergoing maintenance" message. I agree it should be temporary.

    Aww you still have me, well sorta. I just checked, my friends all went on holiday too. Happy I made my collection round earlier.
    Hope it will reset soon.

    Had a friend over today and she was curious about the game as were some of my visiting relatives on Saturday.
    I felt torn, do I tell them how great it is or keep quiet. I actually debated and thought I could be risking a major crash if too many people play.

    This has proven to me it is sometimes best to keep a good thing under wraps. So, from now on I will not talk this game up to anyone else.

    That's weird....I'm not logged in origin but I am able to access all my friends. Guess its different for everyone.

    Luckily my friends are still there but I have noticed the origin icon in the bottom left has disappeared. I'm sure both will return once they get the servers going again after what happened earlier today.

    Add me to the list with disappeared friends.

    I'm sure it has something to do with the message I kept getting that too many people were connected to their servers. Hopefully they'll sort it out shortly.
