I suggested recently that outdoor tasks waiting with a thumbs up should convene somewhere. Perhaps the landing zone or squidport, or somewhere easy to find all of them.

    I think we need more
    trees, flowers, shrubs
    decorations

    Dirt/Sand terrain
    Gravel (road), cobblestone (road)

Ooh. I love the idea of a cobblestone road.

Individual Letters. Each letter sized to occupy 2x2 squares, for instance. or larger. Some have asked for a way to insert a personalized billboard, but that requires EA to store our images on their servers. Having alphabetic letters would be akin to having different types of shrubbery, trees, etc.

This way, I could write stuff like "tap tile" or "no graffiti" or "i love graffiti!" in a readable format that would be noticed :)

Yes for the love of donuts please give us updates solely based on improving gameplay. I want....

-A better way to redesign my town. A scrolling selection tool like an above poster showed would be amazing. You can start in a single square and expand as much as you want. Other game have this EA please add it. I'm putting off redesigning my town (which I really REALLY want to but can't bare the thought of how long it's going to take to move everything individually)

-character finder. This could be in a toolbar (that should be added.) An icon that can be opened and closed like the task book. A list of every character in column form that shows their face and name. Next to that it can be blank if they are just roaming around not on any task. If they are on task the completion bar they show if you click on them can be there showing what task the are on and how long is left. And finally if you click on their name or face it will take you directly where they can be located. (Like it does if they are in your task book and you click on their face)

-storage solution. Also like an above poster said about making it a fuller screen. Put 9-12 items in even rows to be able to see at once. Or maybe letting us create and name folders that bring up additional screens. (Would be great for seasonal decorations like Halloween, Christmas ect...)

-neighbors list. Let me have a choice of what order it is in. Have a selection of 3... alphabetical, my choice or favorites. (drag and drop maybe? Something...idk) and random.

-new paths and water. Dirt roads, gravel, pavement and anything else I'm not thinking of right now. I also want to be able to do it in individual squares.

Give me a update here and there with only decorations instead of blowing through characters. How long can this game go on for after you add everyone relevant?

    1) Split up the purchase items by what they influence. For example, I hate having to scroll through twenty kinds of trees to find the bench I want. Have one screen to buy items that improve treehugging, one for vanity, etc.

    2) Howsabout another color house? Even adding one more new house would improve the variety.

    1) Letters, maybe 5x3.
    2) Subcategories when looking for items to buy. (plants, non-plants, letters)
    3) Friend flag. Just a simple flag you can set on each friend, then sort by flag and name. (I can then tag each friend that has tiles to tap.)
    4) A second squid-port entrance. (Does not have to generate tiles.)
    5) group items to move or move to inventory.

    and....

more glitches like the SP one. :D

    THANK YOU

The decorations should be broken into menu categories
    Trees
    Shrubs
    Flowers
Furniture (We desperately need a variety of tables and lawn chairs)
    Cars (more cars!)
    Fences and walls
Misc. (stop sign, hail ants, newspaper and phone booth)

We need to be able to group items (pointed out already)

I like all the ideas I just read...
Didn't read everyone of them but it looks good...
I have been thinking that it would be awesome if we could place buildings facing every way and not just left and right...
And in addition to that we'd be able to change view to what ever of the four views we want in any given time...

I would like for them to add train tracks so I can separate the good side of Springfield from the other, notably from when Bart got his tattoo.

I was going to do that with bridges across a river once I'd bought up the entire map, but that'd be a much more authentic way. Seconded!!

wow these would all be fantastic! here's hoping someone's reading this thread that can bring these ideas to table.

Other than stuff mentioned, personally, I'd like to be able to send my neighbors a message. They want to make the game more social so why not be able to interact with our neighbors? I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to compliment someone on their design or let them know about the sp tile when i see they're working on theirs the normal way!

You all have hit on my biggies in some form or another:

    - character locator
    - in-game communication of some sort (in order to be able to state your tapping preferences so your friends don't have to guess whether you are pro- or anti-graffiti, etc.)
    - 360 degree rotation of buildings - yes, I would occasionally like to kitty-corner buildings for aesthetics, space be damned!
    - a mechanism by which to place and remove multiples of an item in succession (fences, roads, etc.) Having to exit out of placing fences because the XP symbols are obscuring my placement is really annoying.
    - totally wishful thinking, but it would be nice to have quest tutorials available as well (ie, a list of quests/tasks, and the characters you need free to prompt them.) This might not be feasible, though, since it seems to be getting buggy, and it seems to be more and more common that quests aren't prompting in order.

    I second this!

I would also like to see 365 degree rotation, and as I am constantly changing my town, a much easier way put things in storage. I would also like to see moving cars, only because whats the point in having stop signs if there are't vehicles on the roads. I would also like to see newer houses.

I got a mystery box that has squeaky teen in it, the problem is I already had him, so he is sitting in storage, and I cant use him nor can I get rid of him. So my request would be for EA to come up with a better system that generates the items in the mystery boxes instead of constantly giving items that we cant use, as well as the same items over and over.

I thought that if you got something in a MB that you already had (and it's a premium item you can only have one of), you got the donut value instead. I guess that isn't working though.

I'd like to turn the parking spaces 360 degrees. Also, I'd like the palm trees to be usable in places other than the narrow strip of land on the beach. They'd look very cool decorating the Pimento Grove, for example.

Here's something to make you smile. There already IS such a thing, and right here on the forum. In the FAQ and Guides section of the forum, in the group of pinned threads ... One of them has the phrase "Complete Walkthrough" in the title ...

It is AWESOME, and is exactly what you describe. But better. :)

You can do it yourself easily enough by using the road tiles.

Some very good ideas and suggestions that I hope EA will take notice of, they would bring a new dimension to the game and hopefully make the game much more enjoyable.

For me the biggest thing I want from the game is simply to be a bug free game that I can play without waiting ages to connect or randomly crashing!

In game, I think we need gates to match all of the fences or railings currently available, half size cobble stone and brick walls. Would be good to have different types or paths and roads available with curves and bends with custom sizing available. Custom placing of pavement/sidewalk should also be available.

Sure there's more but that's all I can think of at the mo!

Good point! I never tried that. Though to write "tap tile" would require lots of open land .... Wouldn't it? And I left out "Squidport " and "plz", too. :)
