I finally got it to work on my iphone. I deleted the app, then performed a hard reset on my phone. Once it had re-booted, I downloaded the app again and it actually worked.

Bumping this. I've tried the install/reinstall, but no luck. EA responding to my case, but no help there. So bummed! :(

I've had the same problem on my ipod. The only thing is, I don't own another device to play the game on so now I'm stuck. I have played this game daily for a while now, I've grew real corn now so I'm guessing well over 120 days and suddenly it's crashing. Surely there must be a fix released soon? It seems to be quite a common fault. I don't think I'll buy any more golden tickets! I'd bought 3 the other day and done ok on them so thought I'd have a quick go tonight.

Same problem here on my iPad, I bought a golden scratchie but before I could use it the game crashed, cannot get back in, however I have been able to play on my iPhone, i don't know if this has anything to do with it, but my iPhone has not been updated to the latest OS where my iPad has. Come on EA where is the fix for this issue its a real pain. People are screaming!!

Same issue here as well! Tried to by a Golden Scratch-R before the game crashed and now it won't open at all. EA has been dealing with the recent rollbacks so much that they haven't (to my knowledge) even acknowledged our problem. Yes, I understand people got rolled back, but we cannot even get into the game!! I hope they fix it soon. Have not played for 3 days due to this chaos.

Exact same issue here. Very annoying and very disappointing.

Reinstall does not fix issue. Game just crashes after EA title screen. On occasion, before the program attempts to open it will ask for my iTunes password. Assuming that's because it originally crashed while I was putting my password in to purchase ticket. But, I'll put my password in and it will still crash.

The fact that there isn't even a simple post of "looking into the matter" by someone on the EA support team in any of the multiple threads regarding this issue is very disturbing and makes me question whether I want to continue putting any more time or money into this or other EA games of the like in the future.

I am also having exactly the same problem, tried to purchase a golden scratcher, game crashed and now it won't launch at all. Also cannot launch on other devices either. Friends can launch their game on my device just fine...

I just got this issue as well. Bought a scratcher on my new ipad. It made me do the whole App Store t&c agreement and then I was charged for the ticket but the app won't open at all now. Come on EA!

Same problem here, I just purchased a dozen donuts, asked for my credentials, found out that my appleID had an expired CC, apple took my out of the App, updated my details, then it asked me if I still wanted the donuts, I clicked yes, and now I can not get back in, keeps crashing on the Gracie Film screen, uninstalled, re started the iPad, re installed, restarted the iPad, still crashes... Installed it on my iPhone, and it works there, iPad still crashes on the Gracie screen. Had a notification from Apple that I purchased my donuts, but no donuts ingame (playing via iPhone).... Unhappy...

Oyes, it continually asks now for my iTunes password.....

Is being locked out of my town just my punishment for engaging in online gambling disguised as harmless technicolor cartoon gameplay?

I highly encourage everyone to open a case with EA. I received a reply that the issue has been "escalalted", whatever that means. But the more people that contact them, the better. Also, spread the word: DO NOT BUY GOLDEN SCRATCHERS! A potential loss of revenue is also bound to get EA's attention.
