Have you seen or read the crap on this forum? Apparently there are plenty of people who do not know how to employ basic grammar.

    Man.... I fixed a typo

But sum of us is collige graduates. We gradiacted frum collige.

Some of my recent favorites have been:

    Holloween
    Baloon
    Their/There
    Alot
    Costomers
Calling Native Americans Indians, last time I checked I was of Native American blood, not from India.

There are more but can't recall. Yes, even I on my tablet make typos but I do know their, there, they're, our, are, a lot, alot, etc. I don't find it offensive, I find it part of the gotta text while at dinner, while driving, me me me mentality anymore. Everyone looks out for themselves. Why bother to better yorself or try to come across as intelligent.

I do, most of the mistakes are english speaking people. I have seen many of your post and you speak english better than many. :)

A lot - two words. It is a phrase.

Their - This is simple. It's what happens when people are referred to. An example: "Their house is over here"

There - Indicates where/what something is. As in "that thing is over there."

They're - They are. As in "they are going somewhere"

It's - It is. As in "it's great you're here"

Its - Possessive. As in "The dog took its bone"

You're - You are. as in "You're looking great"

Your - Possessive. As in "Your house is over there"

    Just remember...
    A LOT IS A PHRASE.
I have this on a sheet of paper in my workbook English :D

Humor aside and I enjoyed it all; the point of the forums is communication not literature.

(I spent $40 to have that proofed)
