Dalton, you hear any word on when Game of Thrones is coming back on HBO? (I usually reread the book before it does to remind myself of the 100's of characters George puts into his books.) :D

Game of Thrones, True Blood, Modern Family, Scandal and others

I recall someone telling me season 3 DVD set for Game of Thrones will be out February 2014. I'm assuming the season starts shortly after. I will start re-reading the books soon to refresh my memory some plus it gets me into the series more.
I've done this with Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Harry Potter etc

Yeah, what Coffee said. I'm not going to reread the books, so that the show is relatively more of a surprise for me. :) I did only finish reading all the books earlier this year, though

Why remind yourself of all the characters? They'll all just be killed, anyway  (Sorry if that's a spoiler to anyone, GRR kills a lot of characters  )

If I read the last book (if George ever finishes writing the series, that is) and they all die at the end, I'm going to be so ticked!  Let me go knock on some wood now and throw some salt over my shoulder for good measure.

It was actually the tv show that helped me make sense out of all his characters. Plus, I hate surprises. I already know who's going to die each season.

I can't stand commercials to the point that I hate watching tv. But for the simpsons and its always sunny in Philadelphia ill put up with it. But as far as DVD choice: kids in the hall. Seinfeld. Twin peaks. Monty python. Larry sanders show. Home movies. Breaking bad and Archer both of which I'm waiting for release.

The Killing (A&E) and Copper (BBC America) were cancelled, which is a shame because they were my faves.

I hate when that happens. I'm still gutted over Firefly being cancelled.

Well...this reminds me I forgot The Killing and Mad Men, I love both of these shows. I had no clue The Killing was cancelled, it's a great show. I think the upcoming season is Mad Men's last season, I could be wrong though (I hope I'm wrong). Oh, I just remembered I also love Nurse Jackie and Shameless, I forgot about those as well.

Okay, one more add, as I was posting on another thread I realized I forgot probably my favorite show of all time, The Sopranos.
