It's referring to the Yellow Subterfuge update. Tomorrow the game will update, so the submarine will be removed from the premium section & you won't be able to acquire Oscars Obstacles Truck anymore
My issue isnt that there is premium content, it's that it takes so much to buy anything. I also play the Smurfs and while I can get the same amount of donuts and smurfberries for the same price, all of the premium characters and houses in the smurfs only cost 30 smurfberries each.

But the difference being that with the Smurfs have their content updates, the majority of their new stuff is all premium stuff whereas with the Simpsons, the majority of their new stuff is all stuff you get with in-game cash.
The marge, lisa & maggie snowmen were purchasable with money rather than donuts last Christmas. Must've changed cos more people are buying donuts.
A bit annoyed that the snowmen I bought last year aren't recognised by the krusty spinner & that I've re-won the useless things again. Also, is there any point in winning $1000 on the spinner when your Springfield makes S100000 a day.

Yea I won all 5 of last years snowmen through the wheel. The 1000 is worthless to a lot of players with a lot of excess cash, but it will definitely help out the newer players who are struggling. The point of the wheel is for the 6 exclusive prizes you can only get through there

I agree to keep the game flowing you need to purchase some donuts so people get paid... I happily buy my fair share...but fairs fair there has been very little substantial items recently that haven't cost lots of donuts in comparison to substantial items for Simpsons $$$. To the point where it's hardly worth collecting $$$ I have over 26,000,000 to spend on what, a few decorations....I know $15000 every 3 days on a boardwalk square..
The Christmas update is good, yet so slow. Your friends that you visit get no benefit from your visit except a few $$ unless you leave them a gift box, of which you don't get many to give away I'm averaging about 40 a day, with70+ neighbours it's not even 1 each.. And even they are only worth 5 tickets towards their items.... Sad Christmas joke... Did I mention you can buy packs of these for you guessed it DONUTS...
Little wonder Facebook is inundated with hack either for free or little money for those naive enough to pay.
Come on EA games be fair or you will loose players like me who through their enjoyment of the game have contributed to this game with real money so people get paid.

If you got the truck, then you're all set. There was only 3 parts of that quest line.
The sub is not part of any quest nor does it give any characters any new tasks. It's just a decoration that gives you a nice bonus.
