    Because EA are lazy and it would require at least 1hr of work to animate it. We all know they can only animate lights flashing on and off or birds on the roof.

    Actually, no I hadn't. But now that you mention it, it does seem a bit odd. Especially since, IIRC, it was a premium item you had to buy.

    His four hour task is something about oversleeping a power nap. That could easily be changed to a nap in the hammock. As for visual, it could be something adapted from his posture when he's in his wading pool.

    There are many annoying things that don't get used at all in the game that ARE actually animated - for instance, the pet shop doors opening and a dog running inside, or the rope ladder coming out of the Calmwood mental hospital. These things have only ever been animated when they were haunted during the last Halloween event.

    Why bother programming them to be animated if they're never going to have tasks assigned to them????

    That's a good suggestion. Iv'e never thought of it because Homer has such a long list of tasks.
