I feel bad about how few gift bags I have to give

There is a serious lack of gifts to drop. Maybe they didn't want a repeat of gremlins from Halloween. I ended that event with 1000s leftover.

Yes, I already have more than 3,000 gift cards and dropped no more than 6 gift bags for Neighbours. Extremely low rate.

I don't believe that it's an error in the drop rate. There are gift bags for sale if you have the donuts and the desire to buy them.

I bought the elves and set them free... BOOM, gift bags everywhere..

But they only work once a day..

Personal prizes are collected with gift cards. Community prizes are collected with gift bags. If we collect lots of gift bags instead of spending donuts on them...a slow community bag counter=more donuts spent on bags.

I gave bags, but couldn't seem to manage where they dropped

So I am afraid I may be guilty of "hiding" the bags.

Questions:
Does it show who the bag is from if you get one?
Where is the community counter thingy?
Has anyone figured how to place them, like we were able to place the eggs?
Will Santa finally bring me a pony this year?

Yes.
Go to Christmas rewards and hit the group of people on the bottom right.
They land in roughly the middle of your screen at the time. No placing.
I dunno.

I'm ashamed to admit that I bought a lot of donuts from the TSTOTIPS/Gamezino scam/partnership whatever. I am now trying to deplete those donuts as quickly as possible because it takes the fun out of the game (and I feel bad). So I am buying lots of gift bags and dropping them off to my neighbors in order to help them along, and help me get rid of my donuts.

I bought 3 lots of elves and hope to space them out evenly, but yes... they definitely help!

With only 3 or so characters with jobs for holiday cards it seems the only way to get the personal gifts is to get as many friends in your community. Homers 8 hour snowman gets you 50 cards but a visit to one neighbor and taps on 3 brown houses gets you 30 cards
