Gift Cards not accumulating when visiting neighbors...

Something I noticed when visiting neighbors' towns is that, like goo during Halloween, gift cards don't seem to bank if you leave the town too soon.

I purposely tapped 3 houses and exited before they banked, and they did not accumulate in my total. I didn't try it again (didn't want to lose more!) but I have made it a point since then to collect the gc's before leaving.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed and is able to confirm this for the benefit of the forum?

I just tried this and you are correct, it didn't say I collected them. I tapped three buildings and left before the confirmation.

    They do count, they just dont show up whilst you are in towns - when you go back to your own SF, the correct total is shown, even if you dont click on them when you pop them in other towns.

    Aha! Just had a friend's counter reset so I went in and tested. Good stuff - thanks!
